Saved me from ants
One day i went up to my room after work to get into my pjs and almost had a heart attack because my bed and carpet were teeming with ants. I immediately grabbed all my clothes off my bed and bed sheets and threw them all in a hot hot wash. Then i got my diatomaceous earth and sprinkled it aaaallllll over my carpet. I had to cover my face (should always do this!) and scrub it into the carpet. I left it overnight and spent the night in the living room and then vacuumed it up 3x over. There were no ants left. Still have a lot left and i use it for corners and cracks. It works slowly but works well. Great safe product for homes with pets

GARDEN /INDOOR PESTS, Extremely effective NO chemical, works mechanically.
Wow. I am so impressed with this incredible discovery I cannot believe I just only recently stumbled upon. I ordered this for use in my garden. I personally have not used it internally, but I would do so if I needed to. The aphids, the ants farming the aphids, the grub cutworms, etc etc were absolutely preventing any seedlings to grow!!! I was very, very frustrated because sowing a batch of seeds and watching them prosper is something I thoroughly love! The insects' doing would also allow the weakened seedlings to succumb to damping off ( I am adamant about NOT over watering) Okay anyway, I also am a bit ashamed to admit I was so desperate that I resorted to using se7in dust- which temporarily helped tiny bit. I also tried using my dad's spray style insecticide. Before resorting to these, I had gone and purchased neem oil, it helped on a tiny scale, the neem spray would be helpful on a way smaller problem. **Diatomaceous earth is a white ish powder composed of fossilized 'diatoms' AKA phytoplankton. The particles are sharp like shards of glass, on a microscopic level. When crawling insects with an exoskeleton walk through it, it compromises their exoskeleton and dehydrates their insides. The most important, noteworthy , UNIQUE characteristic that separates Diatomaceous Earth from all of pesticides, is the fact that it's action is MECHANICAL!! NOT chemical!!!! that, in my opinion, is why I consider this to be the most effective AND safest product for my purpose, as well as other purposes. There is no build up of toxins, nothing builds immunity, it's not harmful to pets or humans if walked on. I can dust my garden during the daytime and not worry about the foliage scorching like the chemical type. I don't coat the foliage very heavy though, just incase it could possibly interrupt the plant sunlight action. A little goes a LONG way. Immediately after the first sprinkle, next day I saw improvement. This literally saved an almost dead & deformed pumpkin vine, although it is severely stunted still, it went from the vine being all dried up and chewed up and yellow grey leaves, to GREEN green green! I doubt it will actually end up producing a pumpkin, but I still like the possibility. This has also eliminated the intense fungi damping off , blight diseases, simply because the opportunity for the pathogenic fungi is not occuring without damaged and weakened plants. I could have bought the non food grade label kind, however, I decided why not get the best quality, esp since price is not that high in my opinion. I also would love to mention, I am NOT a know it all, I could be a bit wrong on a few detailed descriptions mentioned, however, I am 100 percent confident to shout from the rooftops THIS IS THE ANSWER! referring to garden and home pests even bedbugs, fleas, fungus gnat larvae. I honestly can't comment on the internal uses, but I am absolutely certain this is quality and could be the answer to anyone needing internal cleansing of parasites. I will ALWAYS have a bag of this product in my stash, it is a staple now and I want to pass along my experience hopefully it will help! I'm not even affiliated with any company btw, and i paid regular price, I AM THIS HAPPY ABOUT IT! I get very enthusiastic about the things I'm beyond impressed with.

DiatomaceousEarth Food Grade is a good product albeit a bit pricey.
I drink DiatomaceousEarth Food Grade, 1 Lb with water on most days with water. Two tablespoons or more. The kill off didn't negatively effect me. My sugar cravings reduced for sure within two weeks or less. I hope its clearing my body of harsh metals. A little bit on my toothbrush every week was a great way to keep my gums healthy. Brush gently.

Good SAFE product, Good price, Glad I bought it.
I understand that some people were worried about this causing lung problems or being harmful to pets. Apparently this is NOT an issue WITH THIS PARTICULAR PRODUCT. After I did some research I made sure to buy the FOOD GRADE DE. It seems to be completely safe, unless maybe you already have lung problems. My mom does have some small lung problems, and she does seem to get more congested if she spends time in the rooms that I used this in, but nothing serious. I have several cats, and it has not bothered them a bit. As I understand it, some people apply it directly to their pets fur to treat for fleas. I applied this to many pieces of furniture, with no mask and bare hands. I was practically covered in it, and had no problems except dry skin. I did not purchase an application tool, so I just got an empty salt shaker which worked fine. I even put it under my fitted sheet on my bed. I could see the powder through my thin sheet. I still had no problem sleeping on it. (no sneezing, congestion, etc.) I bought this for a minor bed bug problem. As I had already thrown out the pieces of furniture the infestation was coming from, I cannot actually verify how effective this product is against bed bugs. I coated everything I could in the stuff anyway. Hope it helps keep the little vampiric ninjas at bay. As to the mouthy alarmist who keeps posting about how dangerous this product is......Dude, please get your facts staight before you scare the crap out of people. Apparently the non-food grade can be dangerous. SO BUY THE FOOD GRADE! It is completely safe. I have had it all over the place for a month. No problem. The only precaution I would take is to wear a mask if you have any ling problems, and use it with more caution than I did, hehe. Or you could test yourself out on it by applying it to some thing simple and easy to clean and see if it bothers your lungs, but as I said, my cats and I have had no problems, and my mom is only slightly irritated by it. Good product, good price. I'm happy.

Keeps Me Uplifted and Pain Free
When I use this Diatomaceous earth, I find I don't have joint pain. I sleep better and I feel more uplifted and cheerful. I have noticed, as others have said, my hair has grown exponentially. My finger nails have not, however. Other reviewers claimed that DE helped their nails to grow and not break, chip or peel. I have, sadly, not had that experience. About the bowels cleansing, I have found this to be very true. Some times, within minutes, I have had to run to the bathroom, and unlike before, have had a complete clean out, after drinking the DE with juice and water together. For years, I could not completely clean out. I still use this method when needed, but, generally, I add DE to my yogurt or food. I also give it to our cats when I make their meals. They don't mind it that way, but they did not like it when I put it on their dry food nor in their wet food. My Blue, who gets bogged up a lot, had no problems with going. My 18 year old, Satin, had more energy and Kit seemed more calm. Strange how it affected each of them so differently. We had a problem with sugar and carpenter ants. I sprinkled DE behind our appliances, on our counter top, around the door entrance and under the cabinets in our kitchen. Within a couple of days, except for a single one, I didn't see either species anymore. My husband didn't believe me when I told him DE would get rid of the carpenter ants. He is a believer now! Now that I think of it, I haven't seen the influx of spiders either, which I am very thankful for. My husband and I were getting bit in our sleep. Neither of us has this problem. Must of gotten rid of whatever was biting us, too. I have told all my friends to give DE a try. I even gave some to one of mine. She used it and lost some weight. I like the fact this came in a container rather than a bag, as shown. Delivery was fast. I will continue to buy from this seller.

Great Product with Many Uses
I used this when we adopted 2 new kittens. One of the kittens was born outside, and was thin, and dirty, and I was pretty certain he had worms. We already had another cat, and the other kitten had never been outside, so I didn't want them to pick up the worms from the poor little boy kitten. I mixed this in with their wet food each day, as well as sprinkling some into the litter box. The vet confirmed my suspicions, that the boy kitten had worms, and I did use a dewormer prescribed by the vet for him, but the girls didn't contract the worms, or need any medicine, because the diatomaceous earth worked just fine. I could have dewormed the boy kitten with just the diatomaceous earth, but it takes about a month or so to work, and I just wanted to get him healthy immediately. There was plenty left over, so now I use this in the spring when we rescue the feral kittens around our neighborhood, and I also use it in my container gardens outside as a natural pest control. At one point, my son contracted scabies from school, and spread it to the whole family! (Yuck!) I used this to treat our bedding and furniture, and made us all a special lotion using this and tea tree oil, to get rid of the scabies. This stuff really does have a million and one uses! One bag seems to last forever, so it is well worth the money. I will probably always keep this on hand now.
