but they were rock hard! Hence the 4 stars, not 5. I've bought several before and whilst they were harder than say sultanas, they were easy to eat.These were much more dried this time and clattered on my teeth, but as I often eat them in plain Kefir, I just left them in it a little longer and they were fine.

This was my first time of trying these berries. I’d expected a fruit that was sweet enough to just eat as they were, but they are way too sour to be enjoyable. I don’t have that sweet a tooth but these are on their way to cranberries. I can only imagine cooking them with some maple syrup or adding a few to a fruit stew in order to use them up.
