Very comfortable chair, just what I was looking for.

This chair is just ok. I'm in it all day everyday and while it is comfortable initially, I find my myself needing to adjust how I'm sitting on a regular basis to maintain comfort. The seat foam compresses to the point I can feel the structure underneath (I'm nowhere near the weight limit on this) I'd also prefer more tilt adjustments. You can get a better chair for cheaper and I question how comfortable this would be for someone over 300lbs. Update 1/10/17 This chair has developed a "squeak" that refuses to go away. The seat has become so uncomfortable I am contemplating a new chair altogether. This is a waste of money for anything but very light and occasional usage. Disappointed is an understatement.

Wow! After struggling for years with chairs that never quite fit the bill, or that had problems supporting my weight (sinking down without warning) I finally found the perfect chair. I'm 5'11" and 263lbs and I have a bad back. This chair has the perfect balance of comfort and lumbar support that causes it to naturally position my back into the perfect position for maximum comfort and extended use. I'm in my chair sometimes for up to 20 hrs and now I can actually be comfortable the whole time. Assembly was very easy with the hardest part being the alignment of the back to the base. The method that we used for this part of the assembly was to lay the back down flat on the floor and then we slid the base into position which lined up all of the screws and holes perfectly My only negative comment would be that one of the arms (left side), when fully elevated, wobbles. I'm sure that as soon as bring this to the manufacturer's attention that they will resolve the problem. Should that not be the case, I will update my review accordingly. ** Update ** It's almost 1 full year and this is still the best chair I've ever used. I've read the negative reviews and I'm not seeing any of the issues that they have reported. One thing that I did note is that some have considered the upright, working position, where the lumbar support is the only part of the chair making actual contact with your back as a problem. This is just not the case. When sitting upright to work, your spine is supposed to be supporting you, not the back of the chair. The positioning of the lumbar support is just right as it helps promote good posture AND provides the support on the lumbar area (where I sustained my injury). When I need to give my back a break, then reclining with my back fully supported by the chair back provides welcomed relief as the lumbar support helps to take the pressure off by expanding the disks

Very poor quality, seat is in leather but armrest are covered with poor quality plastic and are ruined only after six months, The seller dont want to send replacemment armrest under waranty and refuse to sell new armrests Dont waist your money on this very expensive armchair FRancois
