Thicker than expected
I bought these to make lanterns with a youth group. They did the job, but I was a little disappointed that they were so thick and stiff.

Good willow sticks
Decent product. Some of the sticks had bark which wasn't ideal, and a few were broken and unusable but the others were fine and pretty decent.

Willow
The bundle of withies looked nice, thin and fine in the bag, but once opened, I found that the sticks in the centre, about half of the bundle, where much to thick. Seems like they where purposefully concealed to appear consistantly thin around the outside, but much thicker in the centre. These are obviously hand wrapped so its definitely intended to conceal thicker sticks at the centre to increase the weight of the bundle. There's is a difference between slight variation in thickness and intentional deception. Thicker rods are not good for basketry. They are to brittle and not at all flexable. The thinner rods are good quality

Be aware that you’ll need to soak
You need to soak these before use I only had to soak for a day before they were bendy.
