I purchased these to use with the installation of a Renogy solar controller. I thought these would make a much better connection into the controller terminals, and I felt that the insulating collar would be a good thing. So, I crimped them onto the wires with the proper tool and attempted to connect them to the terminals. I couldn't seem to get the ends to stay in the terminals and finally took the cover off of the controller to find out what the issue was. As it turns out, that nice insulator collar was preventing the end from fully entering the terminal connection. To make them work, I had to cut away the insulating collar. Once I did that, they fit properly and the job was soon finished.

Great when used with a hex style crimper.
