For the cost, it's honestly amazing. I used it as a pirate for Halloween. Once they're tied right, they're very snug. Even though they're a little thin, the keep you pretty warm. The pockets are AMAZING, they actually have room for you to put things inside it, like phones and wallets. It's amazing for costume pants.

**4 Stars – Good Quality, But Calves Run Tight** I purchased these costume pants for an event, and overall, I’m quite happy with the quality and fit. The material feels durable and well-made, perfect for a costume piece that still looks sharp. The waist and length fit true to size, and they were comfortable for the most part. However, the calves were way too tight for me, which made them a bit uncomfortable to wear for extended periods. I don’t have particularly large calves, so this was a bit surprising. That said, I’ll definitely be buying these again but will go with the next larger size to allow for more room in the legs. If you’re planning to wear them for a long event or have more muscular calves, I’d recommend sizing up. Otherwise, they’re a solid choice!

I got these for the Renaissance festival her in town. They are cheap but look period and wear comfortably

They look really really nice. Soft and comfortable, look decent with tennis shoes. The grommets for the laces are good quality, and the tie strings are too. The material is a little thin, but it's lightweight and looks good with period clothing or modern bowler shirts or a tee shirt. Highly recommend these.

These pants are pretty good! They look nice and are a good cheap option for costume pants. However I am very short, 4’10’’ so the pants are way too long. The pants were also tight around my calves so I couldn’t make up for the length by just bunching them up. I decided to hem them and they fit great but just be aware- if you’re short with big calves you might have to hem these!

These have now been through 3 Renaissance Fairs in 80 degree weather and have held up well. Perfectly match my viking top accessories. Lightweight, pretty breathable, but they do get warm in the sun. Functions as expected!

As others have said, the bottom of these pants (calf/ankle) is very small and the leg length is very long. I wear 36 waist/30 length pants normally and the size 2XL was best for me. I also ordered an XL, which fit around my waist, but the bottom wouldn't fully close around my ankle. With the 2XL, the bottom could close around my ankle. In both cases, the pant length was too long and as you can see in the photo, I folded the bottom up over itself. The 2XL pants were about 7 inches too long for me, but at least they could fit around my ankles. The waist is elastic, so don't worry about getting a bigger size.. get bigger than you think you need. With most clothing that uses small/medium/large sizing, I wear a large, but for these pants, I needed 2XL.
