Difficult to say.
Difficult to rate the Zulay as coffee making is labor intensive but, coffee taste is exceptional Taste is comparable taste to my French press so that’s a plus. Some problems are: -no manual. Had it not been for YouTube it would have been much worse. -No guidance on how much coffee to add for brewing by strength etc. Be patient as it takes a while to brew on an electric stove. -no guidance on how to know when pot has completed brewing. Something about listening for a ‘gurgle’ to signal brew complete which I have listened for intently on various brews but have never heard. -cleaning/washing vessel is easy enough however, emptying grounds is a pain. -great appearance and seems well made. No noise in use. -arrived in a timely manner. -fair price.

Fantastic Moka pot
Love it. I use a small burner and it's the perfect size for this pot with a plastic handle. It works great. And is perfect for 1 or 2 cups of espresso . I prefer this method vs having a large cumbersome appliance taking up my precious countertop real estate space. It was shipped quickly and was packaged great. If you are looking at a Moka pot this one is great.

This is the PERFECT ONE! You don't need to search anymore!
I've bought and returned 5 so claimed Espresso Coffee Pots, but THIS ONE is the only one that is the "REAL" thing. I was born and raised wilth my Cuban family and know what a real and good Moka Espresso Pot should be and look like. This is the ONE! The Zulay Moka Pot Espresso maker pours perfectly into your mug without any spills. It doesn't leak like the others do while perculating. The base of it doesn't turn black when put to the heat as the others do because they are poorly made. The Zulay is made with GREAT quality and solid. You can tell even by the weight, but also the care that they took into making it. They give you a lifetime guarantee and their own phone number with the hours of work if you need anything. WOW! What a difference when you actually get the right one and made with such great care and good quality. I'm so glad that I didn't give up. I almost did, as all the others are like tin. The handle is sturdy and away from the pot so you don't get burn or it gets hot. It's GREAT! I love it, and every time I make espresso coffee it's easy, no mess, and tastes AMAZING! Thank you Zulay family for making such great quality Espresso Maker. You don't get such service and qualilty now a days, but this company deserves the praise. This is AUTHENTIC and not made cheaply. It comes in a very professional box with great instructions, although I don't need them, being raise in a Cuban home I know how, but it's wonderful for those who don't. I will put the pictures to show you how it arrived and the care that this company took into making it. It also was extremely FAST shipping, and I don't have Prime. Thank you for your work, and may God bless you, your family and your wonderful company.

A Decent Moka Pot
My first purchase had an issue with the gasket that wouldn't seal, but the company was responsive and provided a replacement no questions asked. The replacement works well. The company gives advice on brewing coffee with this moka pot that are just myths: "Use only cold water"- do not do this. Putting cold water in the base will subject the grounds to heat for longer, leading to bitter/off flavors in your coffee. Use hot water in the base and a low heat setting on the stove (if you're getting sputtery energetic coffee coming out of the spout, your heat is too high). "Only use cold water to clean" - this thing goes on your stove and makes hot coffee by boiling water. no water that comes out of your faucet should damage this unit in any way. "Do not use soap to clean" - this is the seasoning myth that you need to season your pot with coffee and coffee oils to get the coffee to taste right. It's nonsense. Coffee oils will be left in your moka pot if you clean only with cold water or without soap. These oils will (as oils do) oxidize over time leading to off flavors in your coffee. Wash your dishes with warm water and soap, your coffee will taste better. This moka pot does not make espresso. No moka pot does. It makes a coffee that is in between espresso and drip coffee. It's dark, it's strong, it can be wonderful, but it's not espresso. You can use pre ground coffee with this, but you're better off grinding your own. The grind should be finer than pre ground drip coffee, but not as fine as espresso. The wood handles are not wood. "Duh." you might think, "Why would they include combustible handles on something you put on a stove?" Many higher end moka pots have wooden handles. The heat should be low enough, and the handle far enough away from the source of heat, that the handle lighting on fire shouldn't be a thing. At this price point I should not have been surprised, but I was for some reason. The handles are comfortable to hold, and soft, but there's a bit of a mental disconnect in seeing wood, then feeling the material the handle is made out of. The coffee chamber is very thin and delicate. Again, not a surprise at this price point. There's nothing wrong with it, just not something that's going to stand up to rough use. The water chamber patinas immediately. This is to be expected as it's made from aluminum. Nothing to worry about. Overall, this is a good purchase. It looks nice, and if you're looking for a cheap moka pot, this one works and won't break the bank. Good for someone who is just getting into making coffee with a moka pot and wants some practice before blowing dough on a more expensive model.

Best Moka pot
Best Moka pot I have owned. Sturdy, especially the handle. Brews a great cup of coffee. I recommend paper filters that fit this pot, if you don't like ANY grounds in your cup. It is natural for a Moka pot to do that, but the filter will eliminate the problem.

We bought this a few weeks back and the first thing we noticed was the lack or instructions papers or any type of documentation. After a few uses ( no more than 5 uses) the handle broke off, which really disappointed me as i knew it was cheap but did not expect it to face issues that quickly. But having said that it was an intereting and fun experience making coffee using a claasic espresso maker.

Just made my first cup with this and it was brilliant! Only neded the hob on number 3 and it was ready in no time at all (i did use hot water to start though) 3 teaspoons of fresh ground was enough for three very strong shots of coffee. Its well enough made but lacks the perfect finishing of a much more expensive version. Finish aside it works and looks great.
