I use these for a unusual purpose. I have them attached to some exterior rafters and hang my grandson swing off of them so he can be close and out of the rain

As a beginner arborist I found myself climbing a dead tree with no bark for my spurs. I had no canopy branches available for friction saver or pulley. Using a DRS for climbing, two of these KwikSafety chokers were used , one as safety fall arrest and intermittent stops while the other unit was shuttled up and up like a mobile friction saver. carried my weight without slipping down the tree trunk. On my way up I added anchor bolts for additional fall arrest but were never needed.

Strong, just what I needed to complete my job

Great quality, I have 2, one for climbing and another dedicated to hauling cinder blocks. I weight 235, no issues for me, I trust it.
