I was gifted this style of slipper a few years back and have been wearing them ever since. However, this particular brand is the first one that fits very well right out of the box (literally, as they came in a box). Since I am retired, I am home a lot, and I tend to trip; I need a closed-toe slipper to not catch on floor coverings. I am a size 8.5-9, but you can't find that sizing, so it's always a 9-10 and often a lot of extra slipper at the back. These fit very nicely, not a lot of extra slipper at the back, so if you're a size 10, it might be a bit snug. I love how they feel on my foot, warm and snuggly. I am thinking of ordering another set before they disappear, as that can happen here on amazon...yeah, I'd better do that while I'm thinking about it! Update 02/22/25: I did order another set, a different set, the last ones shown on the product page; it's a "cable knitted" set, with a red pair, a grey pair and those are the ones I want to review today. The red pair was worn during the holiday season and worked just as well as the first pair, no problems. The second set, the dark grey pair have only been worn two weeks and the knitting is coming apart. I checked the reviews and saw that some others have had the same problem I really like these slippers, the way they stay on my ankle, unlike some similar brand. Yes, they only last me about 3-4 months because I'm an elder person, so at home most of the day. Overall, the fact that one pair only last about 3-4 months is okay with me because of the comfort, the warmth in the cold months, and the quietness is key. My husband sleeps in on the weekend and my more durable slippers have harder soles, making noise on the hard floor, so I choose this type of slipper. My recommendation is to NOT buy the "knitted ones" (although they all are described as knitted), the ones that look like they are knitted. The fuzzy looking ones have not given me any problems. I love that they stay on my feet too, unlike some other brands as I previously stated

These are wonderful for my elderly mom. I like the no slip bottoms. They fit well and she says they are nice and warm for the cold days ahead.

I purchased the *2-pk Chenille Knit (Pink & Grey)* and wonder if there's a quality control difference in these and some others since the mixed (but minimum negative) reviews. These are GREAT! I got two pair hoping both pair would take me through the winter. Well, it looks like they are - but for TWO people! My husband who HATES wearing house slippers liked them so much he filched the second pair from me (okay, he snatched them after a month or two of me wearing mine and then I offered him my 'worn' pair since they had stretched out. And I got the size 9 I wear an 8.5 to 9 and he wears an 11(men) which would translate to a size 13 in women's slippers but they fit BOTH OF US well! So, point number one - they're roomy, right? Right! They're comfortable and while they may stretch out a little, definitely not too much. They seem to be well made and more than a few cold nights I've worn mine to bed without even thinking of it. Comfortable as a thick pair of socks but I can wear them outside (not on wet grass) and even gravel with good results too. Since my husband has filched my other pair I expect next winter I'll be buying more of these....or maybe the next winter after that. They're holding up really well!

I really like them - warm lining - easy to wash - fit well - only thing against them is they shed little fuzzies - LOL - but over all very comfortable and warm

I was pleasantly surprised how cozy and soft these were. I can't even feel them on my feet they are so light. The bottom is well made and seems they will last a while.

These have become my favorite slippers. They’re warm and comfortable like socks. Love that they’re washable and perfect for our Georgia’s winters.

These are soft and comfortable. I love how they are forgiving when my feet swell through time without making my feet feel restricted. However, the lack of elastic does tend to make them retain shape, thus not staying on as well.

I bought this for my Mother, and she loves them! It was good value.

Warm and comfy, but the opening is quite small and tight (and I have average sized feet). I would recommend sizing up if you have larger or swollen feet.

These are nice enough as slippers, comfy and fit well but if you're purchasing for an elderly person, the grippers are more decorative than what you'd be used to on others - didn't really work for us
