Well packaged and on time. This chefs knife is light, sharp and extremely well made, as are alll victorinox products. If chopping and slicing for food preperation is your thing then this chinese chef's knife will not disappont you. Once you get the hang of it you'll never look back. The blade is thin and deep which means it will be easy to sharpen once the blade gets dull but it comes, out of the box, sharp enough to use a leaher strop on it. I think it will outlive the majority of people who buy it for domestic use but having said that it is sturdy enough for a professional scenario as well. It is worth every penny of the asking price and I recommend it - especially if you enjoy bashing garlic about!

Superb! I bought this one as a gift for a friend and he was over the moon. Fantastic quality as always from victorinox and it was razor sharp straight out of it's sleeve. The bladder was extremely sturdy and the thickness lends itself well for slicing and dicing vegetables.

It is sharp and quite easy to maintain! I've been using it for about maybe 1 or 2 years now, and I love it! The only issue is the surface is so glossy, that vagitablrs stick to the knife and potatoes just glue themselfs 😂👍, other than that its great!

I can't praise this cleaver highly enough, I work in a professional kitchen and it really has surpassed everything else I used in the past, its so versatile and also relatively cheap, holds a good edge and a very good daily driver, from veg to fish to meat prep this is my go to for most jobs. means all of my fancy stuff stays safe from agency chefs/ eager KPs.

Mixed views on this. It’s light and sharp, thin, and red handle is bright and non-slip when wet. If you are thinking chinese cooking knife, it didn’t work for me. Far too light, handle too skinny for a pinch grip and didn’t give a feel good factor. Not the knifes fault, just not what i wanted and too pricey for what’s on offer. On the other hand if it’s a light daily beater you are after then this might well suit you well.

Very thin. I'm a chef and I use this knife to cut vegetables. It doesn't produce water and is very sharp.

Good clever, disappointing sharp on arrival but sharpens up nicely, would expect it to arrive sharper especially from victornox.
