Q: How much play should be in the movable jaw? At about 3/4" open, mine has 3/16" verticle movement, as much as my 18" wrench. Is this normal? Thanks.

Q: Trying to remove shower head. Will this work; or do I need something bigger?

Possibly will work just make sure it doesn’t turn in wall use 2 wrenches

it will open to about 1-in, but the handle is only about 4.5 inches long so the torque is low
