Good quality
I bought this welder to learn how to tig weld . It is a skill that takes alot of practice. I want to weld aluminum and sheet metal for my car and other projects . I probably will take a class at the community College to better understand the process. The welder seems to be a great product and just playing with it a little bit the welds on steel look ok aluminum is difficult because it has to be spotless clean. That said i think it is a good quality product

Nice tig machine for beginners
The presets are crazy cool along with the ability to make adjustments without messing everything up. It took a couple of hours and a few you tube vids but I can now weld aluminum and not be ashamed lol. Worth the price…

Extremely durable TIG/Stick unit
I bought one straight from Eastwood. I have had it since late 2020. I am a career fabricator and a fab shop foreman and a CWI. I weld various items with this and put it to the test, especially aluminum control panel covers that take about 6 hours to weld. Amps all the way up at all times on aluminum with foot pedal action to add some control. I have yet to see a difference when duty cycle is exceeded on TIG, with stick I have had it overheat a couple times. Burns 3/32 7018 and 7024 real nice. Five solid years running this machine at least once a week for hours and the only thing that I have changed are tig torches as I have burned plenty up and workpiece clamps as they tend to overheat and degrade. I even buy Eastwood full view welding hoods as they are better than any miller, Lincoln or esab hoods I have used. Eastwood company provides very strong products for those who are 25 year career fabricators.

Wow!
A great tig for a very fair price with fantastic support from Eastwood. I had a question about the high frequency start and they responded within 24 hours!

It welds!
I pulled it out the box on a job and welded stainless plate on an industrial washing machine. No issues here. What a bang for ya buck!

Customer service
I love how when you buy a product made in the USA, you get amazing yet fast delivery on the part that breaks. Being that it be 2/3 months out since you got it. Because that is what I had. The gauges were going out since beginning but I stuck thro it until it broke the seal

Haven’t used yet!
The ground clamp seems extremely cheap, it flexes side to side when you squeeze the handle, in other words it’s really flimsy, I’ve never seen this before on millers or harbor freight welders. UPDATE: I called it the ground clamp is junk is broke within a month and only used about 5 times!! The unit it’s self and torch seem like good quality, I will update this review after I actually use the unit.
