Crown Fondant Molds, 3 Pcs, Baroque Photo Frame Silicone Molds, Chocolate Mould for Crown Cake Decorating Cupcake Topper Gum Paste Polymer Clay

I used modeling chocolate so I could still bend it after it sets. I let it set over night and pealed out of mold. I heated the crown in the microwave for 5 seconds at a time to slightly warm so I could bend it over a can - so that it will now stand on it's own. Time consuming but it worked well and didn't stick to the mold. I made my own dark chocolate, modeling chocolate. I dusted it with gold luster dust in 2 shades of gold. You need to dust both sides. I did break one small section while removing it from the form but I was able to "glue" it back together using some melted chocolate.

The mold was very easy to use. It made my job of making a tiara cake topper super quick and easy. I had no trouble releasing the fondant. I did mix Tylose Powder into the fondant which also helped it to dry and harder faster. I hope to get more uses out of it.

Great quality and fast delivery

I used only 2 of the 3 moulds I received, as I just started using resin with a view to paint and glue them to furniture/mirrors etc. The crown is too big for cards but the mirror is OK for this, if you are into making customised cards for birthdays etc - the crown resin came out beautifully, with great details, easy to pop out of the mould, just the way when you work with Prima marketing moulds - the mirror mould again has lots of great details and is the largest mirror I could find around, both moulds giving strong products

Great product. Made the cake look amazing. But the only thing is it actually looked like it was used. I noticed gold luster dust on the mold while removing it from the packaging. Overall happy I bought it.
