Fantastic small Karambit. Sits well in the hand. The ring is large enough for any finger. Blade was sharp out of the box. Good choice in steel. Kydex sheath is tight on the blade for neck carry. Tech lock belt holder seems a bit big, but is easily removed and/or replaced. Fantastic knife for the money. I replaced this with a Ulticlip so I can use it with or without a belt.

It is very similar to the C16901 in terms of the handle and ring. The ring is the same diameter for sure, which is maybe a hair under or at an inch. The blade is sturdy and pokey. I’m still worried spinning it I’ll slash my arm but at least it won’t bury itself into it lol I read many people complaining the tip was easily bent even with fingers. My good sir you must have hulk hands. I was unable to find a solid grip on let alone bend any part of the blade with my fingers… The tip on mine won’t see much more than a glass bowl or an envelope or box tape. Extremely suitable knife for these purposes and a simple resharpening too, as opposed to my karambit’s talon curve. The sheath also surprised me. Not a full locking belt clip like the C16901 either, it’s too small to need one really. The money clip style fits perfectly on my cloth pants waist bands and although the sheath comes with when I pull it out, it stays put and doesn’t even wiggle much on a thick waist band. That being said, I also read many complaints about the sheath being impractical as well as untrustworthy. The knife is secure in the sheath and even a whipping motion (not my hardest force by far granted) did not dislodge the knife. The kydek works perfectly and is certainly reversible. You will have difficulty setting the clip up to hang horizontally however a handy craftsman, with a drill or a few extra pieces of bent metal, will have no issues doing so. Spinning in my hands can be dangerous. I feel I have average man hands and for me the clearance is pretty much the same as the C16901, meaning that when held under hand and spun using an index finger, my hand extends the index finger in a way that causes the choil of the blade to graze my palm under my pinkie and the under edge of my pinkie connected to it. So far nothing but superficial scrapes with no blood but I could see someone with no experience needing a hospital visit within an hour if they were unaware. I hate to say that too. It’sa really nice blade for a man or woman with caliber and taste however respect should be given to the liveliness of the edge, especially if you have average to large hands. Hulk over there bending 2 inch steel knives with his bare hands should maybe exercise his wallet more so he can complain about something real. This tip will catch and drag no doubt.

This is a great option for every day knife carry, it can be used for anything you'd normally use a pocket knife for as it still has a traditional blade shape, and it comes rather sharp out of the box. It doesn't print when worn under just a tee shirt as well. A few minor QOL and QC flaws but regardless it's a steal for the price. DISLIKES: I dislike the fact that the belt clip that it comes with on the sheath doesn't have a lip to catch your belt when drawing, HOWEVER this can be fixed for pennies at home by just attaching a simple piece of bump cord or paracord to the bottom two holes in the sheath and tying that to your belt or belt loop (I attached a carabiner to mine for easier donning and doffing). Definitely expect to need to replace the belt clip, but you should be doing the paracord trick regardless just in case your clip fails. Last gripe is that (while I didn't personally have this problem) I've heard the sheath QC is not excellent and some will end up being too loose, you can fix this at home by heating up the thermoplastic and forming it to the knife. At this price point I would say that is to be expected. One tiny nitpick is that I wish the hardware was black to match the G10 scales. LIKES: For the price especially you get a whole lot of bang for your buck. A nice looking, seemingly well built, and comfortable to carry knife, for just under $20 at the time of review. Like I said it's very sharp out of the box, extremely lightweight, and with a nice profile that makes you hardly notice it when carrying. The jimping is nice and gives you solid purchase when gripping the knife blade up, and the finger ring is wide and gives more confidence when you do more of an icepick or blade down grip. I like the traditional blade shape as that makes it very easy to sharpen when I need to, and it's listed as D2 steel which is absolutely not bad for a simple inexpensive carry tool.

Nice blade and grip. Sheath has good retention. However the belt clip for 5he sheath is weak. Must replace it. In the pictures for the description of item it show the sheath has a an ulticlip( slim model) or something similar but that is not the case. The clip is just a typical metal belt clip. Disappointed with that aspect as I cant carry till I change it out so it remains secure on belt/pants gear whatever.
