Q: Is this pitcher able to remove microplastics?

Yes it does, one of the main components of the filter is the activated coconut charcoal that has a diameter of ~2 nanometers, the average of the industry is around 4-5 nanometers. This allows the filter to capture and remove up to 99% of the particles in water including microplastics.

Q: Is this suitable for water already filtered by reverse osmosis? We are interested in adding minerals to improve taste and lower acidity.

Yes it should work, in fact, because reverse osmosis is already filtering the water the Alkanatur filter should last longer. It will remove whatever the reverse osmosis couldnt and it will add magnesium to the water. So it should definitely work!

Q: great product thank you.. however instructions are clear as mud and in spanish.. what are the strips and drops for and how do you use them?

I will pass your message to the manufacturer so we can fix the instructions. Thanks for the feedback. Both, the strips and drops are for you to test the pH of any liquid. I recommend the drops for testing water and strips for any other liquid. To use the drops just pour 1 oz of water and then add 6-10 drops of the pH reagent. Compare the color to the label of the drops to get an estimate of the pH. For the strips you can just put it on any liquid and then compare the color to the label of strips (not to the label of the drops they are similar but not the same) Also you can use the strips to test the pH of your body you can put it on your mouth or pour some urine and compare to the color of box where the strips came. Remeber we are always looking for a slightly Alkaline pH. I'm already working on an update instructions guide to share with our customers in North America.
