As a retired electrician, these timers are easy to set up even without reading the instructions, no need to be plugged in while programming, i like the large clear display that shows you everything you need to know at a glanceUsing these for outdoor christmas lights.I would have liked there to be a fuse

Timer plugs work well after I have set the timer, but if you disconnect from the AC power, some time it won't work the way you want. It happened twice for me as accidentally I had pressed Random button. Even I corrected to Auto function it didn't work. I have to reset the unit, and programed again to work well.Once you program properly and connect to the AC power it works very well.Specially quite operation and accurate time.I am happy this product as it works the way you want without supervision.

Why did you choose this product over others?:Cheap alternative to others. Not easy to set but works well when set properly

I have now 3 sets of these timers and they are so handy to use, they are silent (round dial timers tick). I use them for lamps and the Christmas trees so I don't need to worry about climbing in behind the tree everyday to switch on and off. For my daughters lamp I set the timer to go off at 11pm every night so she falls asleep happy that the light is on but then once asleep the lamp is not burning all night long.

Instructions aren’t clear, sentences don’t make sense, half completed paragraphs. The programs didn’t work, tried various combinations and settings, sent it back and ordered another product. Maybe I just got unlucky as I have had a few digital timers but this was no good

So I bought this primarily to use as a timer for slow cooker, it has a good variety of programmes, for what I want far too many, I had an old pin type timer that did what I wanted but it fell apart so these seemed a good price, it's a faff to programme initially, set day, clock etc, then timer, what you need to make sure of is your days tally, else it won't come on, I also have found that to guarantee it comes on I have to plug it in, plug cooker in it, turn it on at switch then press auto on off a few times so it understands I want the auto timer function, as I found if you pug it in in auto function it doesn't come on at all and I come home to uncooked food and not the meal I prepped, so if you are tech savvy you'll find it a doddle but if you want something like a day timer I'd probably go for an old school one.

Terrible. They Don’t work! I bought two and neither worked at all.
