So fake looking

We needed a fake bun for a pixie haircut that needed to be in an updo for a ballet performance. The color is fairly accurate, maybe it was a touch lighter but it just looked like there were highlights. The bun is somewhat loose but there is a drawstring inside to pull it tighter. There are two clips deep inside the bun, but you’d have to have a real amount of hair in a smaller bun first to make that work. Since we weren’t really working with much hair (a tiny ponytail twisted into a French twist) we just used regular Bobby pins in a circular pattern to anchor it, and then lots of hairspray. It looks like it’s a real bun! The bun did come with a loose hairnet over it and I think as each performer comes and goes, the bun will require putting it up again, so we may add our own hairnet to help secure it. It also came with one dark hair band (ponytail holder) and two black Bobby pins.

Got this for my daughter since she cut her hair close to ballet competition season and we couldn’t get a full bun in, this was amazing! Matched her hair fairly well, looked natural and I came off like a dance mom hero, got so many compliments!

It matches my hair color exactly I love it. Very smooth looks real.
