3M Littmann Cardiology IvTM 27"; Stethoscope Hunter Green

The absolute best stethoscope in the whole wide world. I am a veterinary technician, and I have always wanted one of these, especially in this color. It arrived in great packaging and great condition and the price was awesome.

Excellent, just like my previous Littmann Cardiology stethoscopes. I love it.

New nurse on a respiratory/cardiology unit and my Littmann Classic III from nursing school wasn't cutting it. It was hard for me to distinguish between different breath sounds during assessments - took the plunge and got the Cardiology IV and can confidently say it makes a world of difference. I can hear inhalation and exhalation clearly, to say nothing of crackles, pleural rubs, and wheezing. The difference in clarity among the two is worth the investment.

I had to replace my scope after someone took it in the ED, nice scope does what is supposed to.

So, I have a cardiology 3 and this is a definite upgrade. Tube is significantly larger and I can hear noticeably better with it. Is it worth $150 or more over my old one? I guess it is if I catch something on a patient I would have otherwise missed then it’s worth it’s weight in gold!!

Be careful with this one. After you receive the scope, check the production date at 3M.com warranty information. The one we received was actually produced in 2017. This scope comes with a full 7 year warranty so there is little issue as we will still get 2 full refurbishments from 3M as we send ours in for repair every 2 years and their warranty covers everything. We have purchased these for 30 years now, this one will replace our Cardiology III which has been sent back twice with no out of pocket expense other than shipping it to 3M.

So I bought this scope and was very sceptical because of the price and was totally expecting to receive some random crappy scope but I got it today and it’s legitimately a Littmann cardiology IV! Purchase with no fear ladies and gents, it’s real. Plus- this is a super awesome scope, not quite my cardiology master but a close second. I’m a paramedic with some hearing loss so I needed something to hear and diagnose with over a running engine and this works like a charm!
