This door handle alarm works like a charm.

Although it is not 125 dB, at least it adds to my ohters that are 125 dB which are all hanging on my front door. The Audible Alarm did not work well on the door knob so I hung it on an empty wreath hanger on the front door. The weath hangar moves around and makes the alarm sound sooner rather than later. I was worried that since the alarm is not that loud, that the criminals would just remove the alarm unit and try to figure out how to turn it off while staying in my home. It is more of an aggrivation noise than a noise to make someone run out the house. Until you have ever been in the situation, it is hard to imagine what to expect. Unit is as described and is not as loud as 125 dB units.

Good, solid, simple door handle alarm. HOWEVER, DO NOT RELY ON THE PRODUCT INSTRUCTIONS TO CHANGE THE BATTERIES! The instructions fail to mention that to remove the battery plate, you must first remove one tiny Phillip's head locking screw. Otherwise, it's a pretty neat product for apartments and hotels.

Worked great for 6 weeks. Now the alarm sounds after setting it even when there's no motion. I even tested it just laying it on a table and as soon as the red light stops blinking the alarm starts. I tried all 3 levels of sensitivity and get the same outcome. Total waste of money.

It is a little tricky getting it to stop moving, otherwise good and loud.

I bought this product and also their door stop alarm for a trip down to NC for a family wedding. We are staying in an airbnb and wanted to feel a bit more safe while traveling with our 3 kids. We had this product on the front door and on our second night there, it went off. My son and I went to check it out and found that while the deadbolt was in fact locked(no lock on the door nob itself), the door had still been pushed open a bit. I pushed the door back closed all of the way and was so thankful for this product. I don't know who was on the other side of the door, but because of this product, they didn't get in.

Highly Recommended it works as advertised, It's very loud it would scare off any intruder I highly recommend this alarm!

These are a godsend. I have a son with ASD, who had no risk awareness and will run out of the house when it’s at all possible. These allow you to know when the door is touched and are so sensitive. They’re loud and reliable. What a great product! Worth the price for safety!

Great product works really well.

Unfortunately this product turned out to be waste of time. It has gone through two sets of good batteries for no reason (i.e. no alarm triggered overnight). There were similar reviews I think and I should not have ignored it. There might be some working ones out there and this shows that their quality is very poor! I could have taken another chance but who wants to leave their security into hands of unreliable product! Instead of spending on fancy packaging they should have spent money on quality...
