I’ve always been a Polk fan mostly because I think they understand base very well. But this time when looking for shelf speakers I did a lot of homework checking out other brands in the price range but these Polks came out extremely well. When listening you would quickly understand with instrumentals clearly there along with great base, I highly recommend them!

The ES20 by Polk is lovely rich and full sounding speaker, producing a reasonable sound stage with adequate separation. Expect to receive sufficient base from this unit if your a music lover. Regarding power, the speakers are driven well by lower watt amps. I'm using an old NAD 310 which is 25WPC, and I don't even hit 12 o'clock on the volume dial and these speakers are good and loud, while retaining clarity and no muddiness in the bass. Value for money, I bought these at the cost of 250 Euros and I would say they are great value. I only gave 4 stars as i feel these speakers are a touch base heavy without reasonable EQ solutions. Don't get me wrong, sometimes the base sound signature is spot on for some tracks, but in other, it can be a touch overpowering and you loose some of the mid range detail. I wouldn't spend 300 euro on these, but 250 seems a reasonable deal. Functionally, they do what they are supposed to, and do it exceptionally well.

As per video - it looks like speaker is really struggling with low tones- paired with Yamaha Rx- V6A Amplifier - Surround and 5dB volume. It’s getting worse with other songs at -5dB

Have a great look to them but sound wasn’t as good as I expected but still happy with it my main concern is how quickly the price dropped on Amazon

Cuando se recibe la caja, esta es grande y pesada. Buen síntoma. Una vez desembalados se aprecia una formidable calidad, aunque sin llegar a las cajas de alto nivel. Lógico. Son bonitas y pesadas. Después de unos días de escucha, el sonido es contundente con uno graves con cuerpo y conseguidos. La parte media-alta me gusta. Los agudos no son estridentes, también es cierto qué tengo un amplificador a válvulas. Resumiendo, muy satisfecho por la compra y a un precio muy contenido. Tienen 88dB de sensibilidad por lo que como se llama en argot son "difíciles" de mover, es decir necesitas un amplificador potente ( no de potencia si no de calidad)

As caixas Polk Signature Elite têm um belo design com curvas arredondadas. Essas caixas estão substituindo caixas Jamo torre. Embora ainda estejam sendo amaciadas, as caixas Polk são excelentes nos agudos e nos médios. É necessário utilizar subwoofer. Ouço rock, jazz e MPB. Com relação aos filmes, também funcionam muito bem.
