Q: have wasted over 50$ buying these; they stop and start and do not work consistantly. For this high price, what makes it dependable, where others arent

Purchased the frother on Jan 13, stopped working today on Feb 15. Obviously not the quality one is expecting.

Q: Can you just use it for a couple seconds to mix up your coffee and not whip it frothy?

I think it would depend on how much coffee powder you're mixing in. The more you put in, the longer it would take to mix up. I know in order to get my tsp of matcha to mix up, the drink ends up whipped and frother with how long it takes.

Q: Does it come with batteries

No, it did not come with batteries. It requires 2 AA batteries. I use this frother daily and have not had to replace batteries yet!

Q: somehow i made it spin continuously and won't turn off how do i turn it off without removing batteries ?

Remove the batteries clean the entire device with an alcohol and q-tip. Press the on/off button without the batteries sometimes it may stick. If it still continues to spin then the on/off switch may be damaged and you will have to return it since you can't access it. Hope this helps - T
