Q: Is this book tape acid free?

When I did a search on the 3M site for acid free this product does not come up.

Q: Does this tape turn yellow over time? Thank you.

I don’t have the book in my possession at this time but as I remember it didn’t dry out and turn yellow like scotch tape can. Librarians use it.

Q: Can I use this to reattach pages that have fallen out of a book?

Absolutely. I've had the same roll for about 6 years. In that time I've repaired at least 20 book pages and nearly as many book covers. You just put the page where it should be and tape both sides of the page to the page next to it and fold the book closed to crease the tape along the binding. Trim any excess tape and you're done.

Q: This tape is stated by a 15 year user to yellow, blister and crack. suggestions for an archival repair tape?

I only used this tape to repair music album covers or jackets. It worked well for that. For serious repairs on books you should check with an archivist.
