Cuisinart name ONCE again is the BEST to buy! :-)
I am replacing the previous model of this exact model from Cuisinart that we owned for many years. I love the new improvements to this toaster oven. Easier to read dials. Cleaner looking metal outside. I like that you have to turn the toaster on with the new dial instead of just pushing a button like before toast, as sometimes before we would accidently leave the oven on just for a toast. If you like light toast you can get it or darker if you prefer. The oven is just the right size to fit on my very small counter space. The metal tray is very sturdy as well. Just cover it with foil to keep it looking like new. So far I have cooked sweet potatoes, reheated pizza, cooked chicken as well, my husband toasts his pumpkin seeds and he has been known to burn everything! and the seeds come out perfect. I would definitely buy again and recommend to customers that trust the Cuisinart name. I don't have a lot of excess money to just buy and if I don't like it, give it away. So I researched ovens before I bought this one again.

Good purchase
So far so good! I really have no complains about this product, everything works as expected. I really like it because it's compact, I really didn't want a monstrosity on my counter top. It still fits a frozen pizza. The safety instructions as far as it being a fire hazard are little scary, so I'm being extra careful. It's does heat up, but honestly not as much as I thought it would (I also used it for fairly quick recipes so far, no longer than 10-15 minutes). I find the settings very confusing - not sure how to use all configurations between the 3 knobs. Also the on/off function is not the best solution, I can see how somebody could easily leave it on by accident. The tray cleans very easily, but gets kinda warped from heat (returns to normal shape once cooled off). It's a nice looking, modern piece.

Gets hot quickly and toast function is great
The toast function is serious business - it will really toast, and quickly (watch your setting}. The oven is decent size and seems to heat well with no noticeable hot spot so far. The crumb tray is large - this is a big deal for us because if you let this become heavily crusted with spills and crumbs you almost pay as much to replace that tray as you do for the whole unit. We had 2 small spill overs from using this oven and while we could soak and scrub the debris away a stain remains. Not using cleaners on this so we protect the surface. The knobs are okay but the selection dot isn't too easy to see. The top gets really hot, but we use that as a warming surface. The electric burner on the bottom front is close enough to touch your fingers or hotpad when removing items, so take care and then it's pretty groovy. This review posted after 1 month of use, so longevity cannot be rated. Overall, we like it

The little oven that could. . .
Let me first say that I absolutely love Cuisinart products. This was no exception. I read their multiple reviews and was in need of a small countertop toaster oven that was easy to use but also good quality. This definitely fit the bill. The rack can be adjusted to sit higher or lower. The one thing is if you want to line the baking pan with foil, the foil liner needs to fit inside the pan. Otherwise the pan won't slide into the rack. There is a nice crumb tray and a separate button for toastee functions. There just isn't a timer or auto stop for the baking functions. Small details but for a quality oven for a decent price it is worth it!

Very good buy
Had to replace my DeLonghi which finally died after many years of use. I read through many of the reviews of this and other toaster ovens and settled on this model because of price, size and features. Yes, I would’ve liked to have a light and automatic turn-off but that cost $100 more. It’s analog vs digital so no complaints of electronic failure. It toasts my bread, it roasts and it heats up my pizza easily. I set a timer when necessary. It heats up quickly.

Believe the reviews that say it's not easy to use. And it's built to bend...
Arrived today, bent out of shape by being dropped on one corner. Better packing would have helped, but a stronger device would have helped more. Returning it asap... but will replace with a "nicer to use" toaster oven. Cleaning: Not bad. But the crumb tray is in the oven with the heating elements. I much prefer a pull-out tray that is a bit further away so stuff isn't so likely to get cooked on. All aluminum, which is okay but not ideal. The inner surfaces were mostly smooth and probably aluminum. Rack and pan: Stainless or chromed rack, slides easily, seems strong enough. Pan is all aluminum, not dishwasher friendly, though if you don't mind it coming out ugly you can use the dishwasher. Spouse is not at all a fan of that look though. NOT easy to use. Probably 90% or more of our use is to toast something: Burger buns, bagel, cheesy toast, ordinary toast... and so when it arrived, I tried to figure out how to do that. There are three knobs. NOT clearly labeled, but readable with good light and my reading glasses. TWO of the knobs have an "off" position: Top one for temperature... or all the way to the right for "toast" and the bottom one a timer. The middle knob is for "purpose", none of which is "toast". So I set the top to "toast" and the middle one to "pizza" and turned it on to cook off a bit of the newly-made odor. After a minute or two, it rang a bell and I opened it to sniff. Not bad. Closed the door and continued with my chores. A few minutes later we noticed a very hot smell. Yep. The manual says you have to turn off BOTH the knobs. Not acceptable: We're only human and we're not very likely to get those little badly marked knobs to the "off" position every time... and as hot as it smelled, that could be an actual fire hazard. Certainly a chance to hurt ourselves. Or burn something that you want to leave in there to stay warm for a minute... and then forget about it. Price: Not very expensive, but imo, too expensive at any price. I consider it not safe to use.

This is a nice unit. The price seems fair comparing to other suppliers. I love the finish. Simple easy to use controls.

Muy buen producto, fácil de usar y de limpiar. La caja llegó golpeada pero el horno estaba intacto y funcionando correctamente, muy recomendable.

FUNCIONAL Y COMPLEMENTO PARA COCINAR

I love how fast this cooks! The only downfall is that the book says not to use glass in the oven, which I much prefer to cook with. I also bought a separate set of toaster oven size pans, which I would recommend if you plan to use this a lot.

Bought this mini oven after I had to return an Hamilton Beach similar oven which lasted less than two weeks. Although we paid double the price the initial one it seems it is worth paying a bit more for better quality. Only time will tell but I am confident this one will last. It has no electronics on it. Good old mechanical timer and dimmer… ONE year later. Cuisinart replaced the unit as per warranty. Two months later we experienced the same failure. Without much fuss Cuisinart gracefully upgraded this model. Ever since it works like a charm. So much for good ol’ mechanical…. The least I can say is that Cuisinart stands by its products or brand should I say. Morality, don’t buy cheap…
