Math in Focus: The Singapore Approach, Workbook 4B

We have been using this book series for several years for 2 kids (starting from 1A and now in 4B) and I love it! It is the perfect blend of independent learning and teacher guided lessons. The imagery works well for my son who is more of a visual learner and my daughter who does better with the text explanations. Though the read-write learner does need more time with me and the teacher's book as well. We use these books for homeschooling but it seems to be fairly on track with the 4th grade math of the local schools in our area. I could see this working well as a full math course for a student, to supplement an existing curriculum, or as review for kids during the Summer after taking 4th grade math during the school year. I definitely would recommend these workbooks, and have many times to friends and family.

Great because my daughter's school does not send home any math homework or practice sheets and this is the book she uses. We use it for practice at home.

We like this math, been using it for 3 years. So far we like grade 4 too.

This book is being followed in our school district. I ordered it to give my kid a head start during the summer months. The condition is good.
