The Castaways: The Sunday Times bestseller and the most gripping, twisty crime thriller book for 2021 : Clarke, Lucy: desertcart.in: Books Review: The cast aways which is different from Hank's cast away - Well, when I started reading, my subconscious was dominantly demanding a story like Tom Hank's 2000 movie. I mean a long lost romance and everything changes after so long...... And I was fortunately disappointed. As the title suggests there are multiple cast aways here. The sibling rivalry takes a whole new dimension with layers of emotional intelligence. There are some unique interactions among the cast aways. I don't wanna spill the beans. But trust me, if you want a adventure ride through the minds of complex urban adults in a isolated island, just go through this book. Also, pseudocide itself is an entity here. Overall, a great brain teaser that finally makes you a little sad and you take a deep breath and think that's what our life is. P. S. Sometimes you may smell the "Lost" Series in some pages. Review: Story has too many holee - Well, it was tad too long when it wasn't needed. The story has holes. Like how on a deserted island you make coconut milk without any basic contraption devised, otherwise even peeling a mango with a sharpened stone is described. Guess author thought coconut milk comes from a hole in the coconut. But anyway too long and a dissatisfying ending. Wasted a weekend on it.
