Excellent coffee table book with stunning photos and interesting botanical facts.

Excellent detailed photos and illustrations. Presented much new to me information with out getting dry and bogged down.

I got this as a gift for a plant enthusiast and he loved it. The pictures are vibrant, the book is dense, and it is easy to read. It's both functional and a nice tabletop accessory.

Beautiful book.

Quite simply, this book is phenomenal. The photos and illustrations are stunning from beginning to end, and the content is very well-organized and accessible. It manages to contain tons of information without being overly technical. Hats off to the writers/designers of this book; it really is a huge achievement. For some reason, I recall not having the highest regard for DK books. No longer-- this book and other recent entries (Trees, Microlife, etc.) have set a new standard for "Beautiful Science" coffee table-type books. Other publishers take note.

الكتاب جداً مفيد وفيه شرح مفصل لكل جزء في النبات وممتع مره والصور اللي فيه واضحه بكل قسم يتكلم عن شي مفصل مثلاً الاوراق اسم كل شكل ، وكيف تسوي عملية البناء الضوئي وايش اسباب اختلاف الوان الاوراق يعني مفصل كل شي بطريقة جميلة وممتعة

Love just to look at the high quality photos...but the information about the plants and the details about them are not just perfect as a coffetable book. For intrested kids or grown ups...a lot to discover about the plant world.

O livro é lindo e correspondeu as expectativas. Porém veio com a capa danificada, rasgada, o que me deixou chateada. Deveriam embalar em plástico bolha antes de colocar na caixa. Veio solto dentro de um caixa grande. O que provavelmente contribuiu para a danificação.
