Uso questi cacciaviti quotidianamente ormai da anni e ne ho comprato una seconda serie senza alcuna titubanza per allestire una seconda borsa da lavoro. La versione è la slim, quindi con punta rastremata per permette l'inserimento del cacciavite all'interno di tutti i dispositivi elettrici senza andare a saturare lo spazio con lo spessore dell'isolante. Il grado di protezione rimane invariato questo perché la Wiha ha lavorato sulla riduzione della sezione metallica interna, mantenendo quindi lo stesso spessore assoluto di isolante. Sono cacciaviti ad uso esclusivo per quadri elettrici e più in generale per l'impiantistica, anche se io ne faccio anche un uso generico. Assolutamente da evitare l'uso di martelli che rovinerebbero non solo l'impugnatura ma anche la punta del cacciavite nata per un utilizzo manuale, scordarsi anche di fare leva perché si piegano. L'impronta sia del taglio che della croce PH è piuttosto precisa, non la migliore in assoluto che abbia mai provato (che per ora do ad un altro marchio tedesco che però ha altri difetti), l'impugnatura è comoda e si riesce ad applicare tanta coppia. Li uso in sale macchine quindi con ambienti salmastri e con presenza di grassi, oli e carburanti. Le impugnature spesso pulite con degli spray tipo wd40 o altri a base solvente non si sono mai ammorbidite, al massimo si vanno a perdere le scritte stampigliate. L'isolante non si è mai rovinato se non per qualche piccola scalfittura dovuta alla mia imperizia causata da usi poco ortodossi, ottima riuscita anche della parte metallica che nonostante abbia visto tanta acqua salata e non, non ha mai fatto un puntino di ruggine.

Best screwdrivers on market.German made,perfect Update 24.08.2017: After just 2 days of use screwdrivers showing significant signs of use, #2 Philips is worn and cams out. I am very disappointed with this set. I never abuse my tools and this set supposed to be addition to my toolbox which contains of brands as Knipex, Fluke and Bosch, I love a good tool but this set is not that. I will try to upload a picture of #2 Philips to show signs after just 2 days/couple of uses..

Fantastic drivers, very nicely made with near perfect moulded handles and shaft insulation. Handles have "Made in Germany" and the last two digits of the year of manufacture moulded into them, shafts have the insuation moulded to within 15mm of the tip and with the insulation diameter tapering down to the tip size within about 50mm which means that these drivers can be inserted into very tight or deep terminal housings without the insulation hanging up. Makes them perfect for working on equipment you typically find in industrial electrical enclosures or PLC I/O modules.. Fastener engagement is good especially for the PH1 and PH2 drivers, as it is for PZ1/PZ2 if you purchase that version. Handle shape is excellent, possibly more comfortable to use than the other German brands like Wera, Felo or Witte, but that's subjective as they all make great screwdrivers. Tip wear is excellent but pay attention to PH or PZ fasteners, you will damage PZ heads if you use them in PH fasteners, on the the other hand PH in PZ is less problematic. Super useful if you need insulated drivers to engage with deeply buried fasteners with tight housings, if you don't check out Wera, Witte or Felo as you may find them more comfortable. For twenty quid a set of six these are a 'must buy', the only problem you will likely encounter is other people walking off with them...
