Q: Can you weld galvanized with this welder thanks

No. Galvanised coatings give off poisonous fumes when overheated. The base metal will not fuse with the welding rod. The galvanised coating has to be ground off down to base metal making sure its removed on both sides and with enough clearance around the proposed bead.

Q: What's the best setting to reduce hole burning tom

Depends on the thickness of the steel used. For car panels, the thinnest work you should do, well spaced 1 second stitch welds inches apart on a medium to low power and wire setting. Holes can and will happen because of the nature of the old steel, even with the right settings. Practise on some cut out scraps before going to the main task. This cold weather will als have a bearing on the weld as the steel needs to heat up a little extra to weld properly, but will cool quicker too. The answer is practise and experience and environment.

Q: Can this tig weld as well or is it just mig?

Some welders are multiuse, but you have to pay a great deal for them. This is a gasless mig flux core welder and cannot be converted to anything else in 5 minutes. Watch more YouTube!

You have to grip the nozzle, gas shield, hard then just twist and pull the nozzle away. As for the contact tip you unscrew it using a plier
