Absolutely my favorite protein powder I have ever tried! Great flavor, mixes up great, and my digestion loves it!

I’ve tried a lot of protein powders, but Equip’s Prime Protein in Vanilla has really set itself apart. It’s made with beef isolate instead of whey, which means it’s much easier on my stomach—no bloating, no heaviness, and it digests cleanly after workouts. The vanilla flavor is smooth, not overly sweet, and mixes well with just about anything—water, almond milk, or blended into a smoothie. I especially like that it doesn’t have that chalky texture you find in a lot of protein powders. It’s versatile enough to use post-training or even for baking high-protein snacks. From a performance standpoint, it gives me exactly what I need—high-quality protein that supports muscle recovery, strength, and lean muscle growth without any junk ingredients. Okay so I want to start by saying that I am a very optimistic/positive person by nature so it takes a lot for me to write a negative review. BUT I feel that it’s necessary because of the overall good rating on this protein powder and I want people to know that there are more opinions out there on this. I used to drink the Gold Standard vanilla whey, have tried a pea protein one… and on my quest to have more natural ingredients in my life, I recently tried NAKED and then Prime Equip. I was so excited to try this one because I’d heard good things and I love the simplicity of the ingredients. The package arrives on my porch, and I’m so excited so I run out and grab it and tear open the package. The smell is overwhelming. It’s smells like vanilla cake batter but like a very chemically processed smell along with it. I wasn’t going to judge solely off smell though. So I put some in a glass with milk and used my handheld frother to mix it up. HOW do people get this mixed in? It’s sticky on your hands/everything it touches, and it doesn’t break down in a blender bottle or with a frother. Which is a huge convenience factor for me. It’s super chunky and after it’s mixed in (even with the nutribullet, which is what I would recommend), it separates to the top and gets chunky again. I’m so disappointed. I got the chocolate and the vanilla, and the chocolate taste is better than the vanilla (which just tastes like straight chemicals I don’t know how). But they’re both pretty bad. For the price of these, it’s a real bummer that you can’t return them. A sample packet would be nice to be able to taste test in future but overall I’m really disappointed and would not recommend this protein powder.

I was vegan for 12 years and I still don’t do dairy, so I’m very cautious with protein powders. Most whey or plant proteins either upset my stomach or taste overly sweet and artificial. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the Vanilla Equip. I seem to tolerate it really well — no bloating or weird after-effects — which is huge for me. The flavor is subtle but good. It almost tastes like marshmallows? Not in a sugary way, just kind of soft and lightly sweet. It does not mix well just shaken in water. I tried that first and it was clumpy. This definitely needs to be blended or added to a smoothie for the best texture. My favorite smoothie lately is banana, dragonfruit, strawberry, a scoop of this protein, and a spoonful of nut butter. Blended, it’s creamy and actually feels like a treat while still being simple and clean. I also use it in all my Ninja Creami ice cream concoctions, and it works great there. It adds a mild vanilla flavor without making things overly sweet, which I appreciate. Also if I can get some gains while having my ice cream - I’m happy. Giving it 4 stars because I wish it mixed better on its own, but overall I love it, it’s one of the few proteins I actually feel good taking.

I am giving this 5 stars because I know it’s a good company and I do intend to by their Prime Protein Powder that is unflavored. I bought the vanilla and it is TOO SWEET. I will mix it with the non flavored. Half the stevia would be enough. It leaves an aftertaste (the stevia).

This protein powder is delicious, no after taste, just really good. I use it for a fruit smoothie in the morning, doesn’t clump.

I used a $10 handheld frother and a half cup of almond milk - WOW! It blends easily, with very little clumping. If protein can taste fresh and clean, this one does. My shake was very creamy and could pass as a milkshake... I've tried a couple like Premier Protein and Orgain, which I didn't hate, but this is fantastic. I'll be using this until the company eventually sells out to a larger corporation, as most quality products do.

Simple clean and tastes fabulous

This is rich in collagen as it’s naturally derived out of beef. You get the complete protein profile of all amino acids and nitrogen to lean out and build a dense muscle. I preferred chocolate flavour but vanilla is also not that bad.
