Great Sneaker for Overpronators (Runs Small)
I normally wear the Asics Gel-Kayano 18 in a size 10 which fits quite comfortably. With the Gel-Nimbus 15, I needed a half size larger to get the same fit. The Gel Nimbus 15 seems to be developed for overpronators as they have a high arch and an angled sole. It is a light running shoe, distinctly lighter than my Gel-Kayano 18s. It is also developed for those who are pavement pounders as it is highly cushioned and it can be difficult to feel the road. And it seems the sneaker is designed for those with wide feet: The standard D width fits quite well with my slightly wider midfoot. It is obvious that the sneakers are manufactured with high quality and built to last. The mesh fabric is quite flexible and can rapidly adjust to different pressures on the foot. One thing of note, the reflective yellow is more a light neon green although it doesn't match the green on the insole. Also, the green is far more contrasting against the black mesh than the photo reveals. The Gel-Nimbus 15 is quite modern looking and stands out against almost all other running sneakers, including most other Asics. The only thing keeping me from giving the Gel-Nimbus 15s 5 stars is that they require a bit of a break-in period, something that my ready-for-action Gel-Kayano 18s did not. Otherwise, if you're an avid exerciser and runner with a wide foot and overpronate, these are the sneakers for you.

Not since Cumulus 8
I have struggled to find a shoe since the Cumulus 8. Since then I have had knee problems . I have tried other Cumulus, prior Nimbus, other brands and could not find a shoe for me. I run about 30 miles a week which means I need to replace my shoes every 2-3 months. Budget is tight so hard to spend $140 for shoes. I usually wait until shoes go on sales between $35-$70. I tried these shoes on 7 months ago and made a deal with myself to save and buy them when they went under $100. Had to wait longer then I thought. Been running in them for a week and while my knees are not better I definitely can tell a difference of how my knees feel after a run for the better. If things begin to progress I plan to stock up on pairs when they drop into my price range so that I don't need to go about another 5 years of trying to find a shoe that works. Sure wish the companies didn't monkey around with shoes so much. It costs more and it causes us to search to find another shoe that works for us. This is the first time I feel like I found a shoe that works for me in years. Time will tell how right I am.

Awesome shoe!
I was never much of a runner, more of a cyclist. Though recently I've started to run much more to get a different workout. I was using cross-trainers for a while but as my distance increased, I started getting aches all over. Somebody told me it was partly due to running form, but also lack of good shoes. So I researched a bit and found good reviews for this shoe. Decided to try it, and really glad I did. I now run more than double the distances I used to with little to no aches. Then gel is really shock absorbent and I feel like I'm running on a cloud, or wet sand minus the resistance. The fluorescent green is usually not my color, but these actually look really cool and give good visibility due to the brightness. I don't run in the dark, so can't speak for their reflectivity, but I'd probably take further precautions regardless. All in all, I'm extremely happy and will definitely buy these again after I hit the 400 mile mark with them.My only complaint is I got free 2 day shipping from Amazon and they sent the wrong size. I had to return them and re-order, but did not get the 2 day shipping and had to wait a week and a half to get the right size. It's not the fault of the shoe or the company since Amazon took full responsibility. But still, it was kind of a bummer.

Awesome Product
These shoes are a perfect fit for my feet. I run 5 days a week in different terrains, mountain trails, lava rock, roads etc. and various weather conditions. These shoes take the ultimate beating from my running form. So far, running in them has been a wonderful experience. It's like running on air, very cushioned and springy in each step and easy on the knees. They appear to endure well. The prior model to this one lasted approximately 6 months. I suppose this is a good life expectancy for a pair of running a shoes built today. The rubber wore down quickly and the mesh started to tear. Poor useful life is my only compliant with Asics. I have owned running shoes that were higher quality and have lasted at least a year or longer. Running shoes built today seem to be lacking in durability. However, this is a good running shoe for the short term, just keep in mind it has a short expiration and early dispose of date for frequent runners.

So far so good.
Being a runner and a diabetic are always a challenge. I have neuropathy in my feet so I like a lot of cushioning. My last 3 pairs of shoe were Nike Vomeros. They were awesome with a lot of heel cushion which I like. I run outside year round here in the northeast.I buy a new pair of running shoes each year, sometimes more often. I wanted to try something different so that's why I bought the Nimbus 15s. I took their insert out and added a more cushioned one. I've run about 4 times in these so far. They are nice and light. I think after about a month I will know if I would buy another pair or not. As I said I need a lot of cushioning so right now I haven't made a judgement on these. There is no breaking in. They are flexible right from the start and ready to go. Thanks Amazon and Asics.

Great shoe. Good for running when dark.
I have used 8+ pairs of ASICS Nimbus over the past several years beginning with the Nimbus 11s. The Nimbus 13s were my favorite shoe - very plush, reasonable weight and very durable. I had to return the Nimbus 14s b/c they were not nearly as comfortable and shock absorbent. The Nimbus 15 is an improvement over the 14s, but still not as plush as the 13s and is actually a bit heavier.Still, it remains a good, overall shoe for those who put in a lot of mileage and want a softer ride. The reflective stripes and glow in the dark exposed gel parts on the side make this a good running shoe in low light. This is my 2nd pair of Nimbus 15s and my 1st pair still has a lot of life left in them even after 150 or so miles.
