Purchased this set as a replacement. They are horrible. Will not keep a charge long if on the phone, and I use mine often, making it that I have to rotate theses out. There is no warning when the battery is close to dying it just powers off. And if you try resting it on your shoulder to talk, you will hit the END button and hang up on people. Absolutely hate this set and will be looking for something better,

Bought these to replace phones in our home. They work really well Would buy again. Haven't had any problems with them.

I can tell you we liked our old set and very happy we purchased the insurance. Our DTE Energy company keeps having power surges and this time blew out our Xfinity Wifi, our whole house telephone system and our sump pump. They had to pump our basement out of 4" of water. The Asurion Insurance we paid $9.99 for kicked in and they immediately sent us a label to pack up all three of our phones and take to UPS. Naturally it was on a Sunday so waited until Monday. Monday took to UPS and by the time husband got home we had an e-mail sending us a gift certificate so we could purchase new phones. Naturally ours not available so ordered a set that cost about $39 more with insurance. The new phones arrived the following day. So great turn around. The only complaints are the phones are suppose to be new 2023 but when we opened the box the directions and date on the phone say made in 2020. Plus the batteries go in but very difficult to shut the back of phone - keeps clicking open due to the bend in small wires. One of the phones didn't charge due to this problem but we finally have taped back shut and it's charged.

I am hearing impaired and needed a phone that provided clarity. I have tried many phones. Often I can't find my hearing aids before a caller hangs up. This phone is clear enough that I can hear enough before the aids are in place. I also like that the PDF user guides can be downloaded - paper instructions for other electronic items usually need a magnifying glass to decipher. The only minus is the shortness of the recorder length. I never leave the phone out of the charger cradle, thus I have no inkling of battery life. There's been no signal degradation no matter where I wander in my home. Buttons are more visible than other phones and the top light allows for my noticing faster when the phone is ringing.

The display was hashed, i.e. - -, rather than a solid letter or number. The name space feature was shorter than my pervious unit -- there could be a extension option yet to be discovered. The unit has more features than I will use such as a cell (bluetooth) option. I purchased it primarily for the distance feature (advertised at 1000 feet) and it successfully performed within my needed 400 ft of the base unit. There is a learning curve given that this is a replacement for a previous phone, i.e. instead of talk to get a dial tone, press home.
