Good pad - took a long time to fluff up initially
So, I really like this pad. When I first got it, I opened the valves and left it overnight. It didn't self inflate at all. I walked on it the next day with sox on on the carpet, kind of messaging the padding. Went up a little. Blew a little air in it and let it rest for another day. Sill really low. Repeated everything and then just let it sit for a week on a bed. Finally, full padding thickness and functioning like it should. I slept on it camping a couple nights ago - excellent pad. Very happy. Just, take your time getting the foam to expand after sitting sucked flat from Amazon for months. Totally worth the money, and I have a bunch of other pads too. This is now my main camping go to mat. It is more comfortable and lighter and packs smaller, and still has decent insulation, than the others I own. Sea to summit makes good stuff, even though it costs a little more than the cheap stuff.

Really Good Quality, But Big
It's an incredibly high quality pad. I have had non-self inflatable pads for a while and eventually got sick of them not holding air anymore after a few uses. The material is high quality with this self inflatable pad. It is not that heavy, it is bulky however. You will have a hard time getting this into most backpacks. It's definitely not meant for backpacking and is just for car camping but if you have a larger bag or go for the smaller and lighter tapered version, then you can definitely swing this for backpacking. I love how comfortable this is compared to other blow up pads and feels like actual memory foam. It holds you up off the ground easily also and is about 2 inches thick. I would expect it to go great with a cot like in the advertisement picture, which is actually what I got this for. I expect it to keep you warm on cold nights in winter also.

Great Product
Just because I’m in the army doesn’t mean I needed to use their 1 inch thick, cheap standard issue sleeping mat. This thing went across the country to Death Valley California in the summer. It sat inflated the entire day in direct sunlight, inflated and deflated every day, placed on sand and rocks. It’s just very durable and worth every cent. No matter what surface I placed it on it felt like sleeping on an air mattress.

Comfortable and insulated, but more suited for car camping than backpacking
I do think this is a great pad, but I find that there are two draw backs. The first being that it doesn't compress back down to its originally packaged size - it does fit in the bag but the bag can't be tightened all the way down like it was before use. This means if you're backpacking you'll need to strap it outside your backpack with some extra long straps or account for the extra 1-1.5L difference when repacking your backpack. The second issue I have with this pad is I've had to blow it up the two instances I've used it. Mayyyybe, it would self inflate if I let it sit for a few hours, but if you're tired and want to go to sleep quickly, you'll either need a pump or 10-15 solid breaths.

Pick your pad wisely
Know your personal need is my only advice on a pad. Self inflating was scout reservation recommendation else I wouldn’t have. Took this one on a 7 day canoe backpacking trip BWCA and a couple other campouts. Its 2-3x heavier and 2-3x packed size larger than almost all my other pads but it works great. I was more worried about the bulk of it in my bag more than the weight but glad I took this one. Its self-inflating quality is overrated but it was still very comfortable. I used it in summer and not yet in cold so might check the R-value for your need but I consider using it year round. Im a 250lb, 6’3”, adult male, side sleeper. The extra weight is justified by a more comfortable sleep. I would not take for a long backpacking trip, but glad to have this one when not as worried about pack size or weight because its still quite manageable. I have one other pad which is larger and thicker but I like that this one is smaller. Given that self-inflating is by the foam and foam is weight, I am not 100% convinced the self inflating feature is worth it to me. My other pads inflate in only 1-2min anyway. sure, it was nice.

Good quality
It’s big and heavy for back packing but we love it it holds air all night you can adjust the firmness it goes back in it stuff sack nice and you can get all the air out of it

Solid pad, storage bag is a bit small though
Very comfortable. Inner foam gives more support and the valve allows you to adjust the air until it is just right. Quite a pain to put back into its original bag though.

Extremely Comfy, but it's massive rolled
First impressions, it's massive. It's nowhere close to the side of a Nalgene bottle, it's larger than my 1 person tent. Jesus it's humongous and quite weighty. If you have .5L Smartwater bottles, bundle 6 of them together and do 2 stacks, that's roughly the size of this pad when rolled up. BUT, oh lord is it comfy. It reminds me of a cot sized air mattress, but with the foam, once fully inflated it feels like a firm yet squishy mattress. Slept on it for 1 night, and it felt better than any sleeping pad I've had, especially sleeping on my side. Asides from quality of sleep, if you're using a sleeping bag, you're going to slip & slide on top of this pad. I tried with Marmot, Kelty, OV, & Snugpak sleeping bags, and there's zero friction between the bag and this pad. Try using a top quilt instead. All and all, it's a pretty nice pad, 2.5-3" thickness is perfect for me, and it's very insulative. Though the largest turn off is it's size, and due to that reason, I'm giving it 3 stars and returning it. This's by far the largest piece of gear I have; unless I go glamping, there's no way I'm going to carry or use it. ------ Bought the normal one too. It's a lot smaller, and packs smaller too. Size wise, it's a bit too short to fit me, 6'1 & 265lbs. Though I still have a complaint, the stuff sack, although very cool, is very tight to fit the rolled up pad back in. I wish the stuff sack would be an inch or 2 larger on both dimensions.

Ottimo materassino. Puoi gonfiarlo anche senza nessun ausilio. Materiali resistenti.

Really comfy, thick, warm, inflates and deflates easily (you do need to do that a couple of times at home, before you take it out). I sleep so well on it, I could be at home. It's not the smallest to pack, but what you carry is up to you... (In a pinch you can also use this as a paddle board and help float you/your kit across a river. which is v.handy!)
