GREAT PENS for annotating Bible, books.
Very fine point and excellent, smooth ink, with NO bleed, even on thin pages. I especially enjoy the light brown pen, bc it doesn’t make my notes or underlines visually overwhelm the page. LOVE these pens!

Great 01 pens. Wish they had pink!
Very nice thin (01) pens , nice also that they have 01 on their caps. Pretty good at not bleeding through thin Bible pages. Glides easily and no ink splotches. Easy to write tiny words between the lines/words in your book. The blue is a beautiful shade of blue! Very happy with these thin line markers!

For marking in Bibles
These pens are what I need for making notes in my Bible or for underlining passages. They are fine enough. I use the 05 tip size for underlining and 005 for making notes in the margins, which I do a lot. The ink dries quickly and does not bleed through the paper. I've never used other pens that do as well.

Do not smudge when used on fabric
Nice pens. I bought them to write on fabric. Tried them out on practice pieces and they worked well, did not smudge. I have washed them once and they seem to hold up well to washing.

Great pens, but read this advice from the company...
The ink is beautiful, with rich colors that don't bleed through the thin paper that I'm using them on. My only frustration is that the tip of one of the pens is pushed up into the shaft. I wrote the company about it, explaining that I had been using the pen with a very light hand and that I hadn't been applying pressure when writing. I was told that the pens are intended to be used at a 90 degree angle. I reread the description and don't see that noted anywhere. I believe if a product has specific limitations that it should be noted in the description - not explained to the customer after the item fails to perform. I'll be more careful with the pens after noting this - because I do like them - I just don't want to lose the tip of the rest of my pens! Here is part of the email that the company service representative sent me. It might help you keep from making the same mistake I made: "Sakura invented Microns as an inexpensive and disposable alternative to high-priced technical pens while maintaining technical-pen quality. Although Microns were originally designed for fine-line technical and art drawing, their use has spread to other applications. Micron’s best use is on paper. Non-traditional uses such as tole painting, decoupage applications, using it on canvas, decorative quilts, etc., might contribute to an issue with a bent or clogged nib. A Micron nib may clog from use with partially dried paint or primer, wood dust, fabric dust, starches & protections on fabric surfaces and very fibrous paper. All of the Micron point sizes require very little pressure to provide a flow of ink. The Micron nibs are essentially “micro size plastic tubes” which allow our pigment ink formula to easily flow from the barrel to the paper. When any foreign matter clogs these tubes, or the nib is bent, the Pigma ink flow is blocked. There is a trade-off between durability and the fineness of the tip. The smaller point sizes (005 and 01) use very delicate nibs to create the extra fine line, so they need to be used with a very light touch, no more than the weight of the pen itself. If you experience a bent nib, switching to a thicker nib size, and/or using lighter hand pressure when writing, should resolve the issue. Microns are designed to be used at a 90⁰ degree angle, like technical pens. The handling of Micron pens is similar to a technical pen or fountain pen, so shaking, tapping on a desk or dropping the pen might cause the ink to flood the nib and cap. They should be stored horizontally with the caps on when not in use."
