SanDisk 1TB Extreme Pro Portable SSD 2000MB/s R/W Initially set up the disk with inbuilt san disk software. The speed was pathetic and after some debugging found culprit in exFat default format. Reformatted to APFS (Encrypted) for similar secure features without comprising features. Surprised to see drastic jump in performance . ExFAT - 48gb write failed after 30 mins. APFS Encrypted - 48gb - less than 4 mins. Pros - Portable Secure Sturdy Speed Large volume Cons- Default software and filesystem.

Please do not buy it I buy that SSD on 2023 1. 1 Oct 2024 I get replacement 2. Today 24 Nov 2025 I apply for replacement same issue SSD not not show after 1 month then you have to format and reuse it. Hubble Request please do not buy it Please go for other brand No problem with the seller. The problem is with the Sandisk Extreme Pro 4TB version.

Great, Fast, I had one issue with it,, I have added some files on it.. after a while when I connect it, the windows didn't recognize it and I had to format it and loose all my files that I don't have backup on them ): Make sure when formatting to choose File system: ExFat not NTSF so that it could work on both PC and Mac

Super content de mon achat, disque très compacte qui s'emporte partout. J'ai pris le modèle 4To à 2000Mo/s. Après un test les résultats sont assez bon. Notez que ça chauffe pas mal et par conséquent le disque ne peut pas tenir 2Go/s très longtemps si le transfert est très long.

Haven't had many chances to test the capabilities of the SSD, but, so far its performance is quite impressive. Turning on its encryption was also straightforward. I heard many news in the past if its data integrity issues but I hope SanDisk has fixed it and it wouldn't happen down the road.

So small and convenient. I bought the Monterey color as well and it is similar transfer speed. Just Wow! For both of them. It's super fast and the perfect size. I'm using it as an external drive, I truly like the size..wanted alot of space..just excellent for what I need to store. I would recommend. Thanks Seller Amazon!
