I love that these eye vites have astaxanthin which is hard to find in a lot of the others. Also per ingredient list, no bad stuff you don't want. I have used them for about 2 years now. Less eye strain if I am on the computer longer than usual. Although they are a little larger than some others, I find them easy to swallow. I am 74 and don't wear glasses (yet!). I will continue to take Nordic Naturals as I feel they are very beneficial to my eye health.

This seems to be a very well formulated supplement for the support of vision. I was interested in adding this to the supplements I already take because I do spend a lot of time in front of a computer and I would like to limit the potential for damage to my eyesight from blue light. There is a history of eye problems in my family, so I am trying to take steps to improve my own eye health. I alternate this supplement with two other supplements designed to support the retina and macula. I like that the formula contains meso-zeaxanthin and astaxanthin in addition to the more conventional lutein and zeaxanthin and there is a reasonable dose of each. I also appreciate that I only need to take one capsule per day, as I am already taking several other supplements, and I'd like to keep the number of pills as low as possible. This seems like a relatively pricey supplement at first, but since it is a 60 day supply and many of the other supplements I have are only a 30 day supply, this turned out to be more economical than I realized. I am familiar with Nordic Naturals and consider it to be a reputable brand, which is an important consideration for me when shopping for supplements. The current price of this supplement is $35.66. The capsules are fairly small and look a little bit like licorice jelly beans, maybe a bit plumper and are easy for me to get down. The bottle arrived properly sealed.

People who are in front of a computer screen all day at work or have an outside job will find that this supplement can help keep their eyes protected and functioning better. There are some other benefits besides protecting your eyes and keeping cataracts away that this formula helps with like: cognitive function and general brain health, improved skin and cardiovascular system. I like that this supplement is third party tested and that it is non-GMO. The softgels themselves are a little larger that my other softgels and they have a slight odor. They go down fine though. If you happen to taste them when swallowing you’ll find them kind of sweet but no other real taste. I like that the softgel is made of some natural ingredients. I know that in order to get the ingredients flowing you have to suspend them in something. I appreciate the olive oil but I really do not need the sunflower or safflower oils or the beeswax. The rest of the ingredients are not a problem for me. I have found when taking this supplement that my eyes are stronger. They can see better without squinting so much. Focusing is easier. Though the price seems a little high the bottle has a two month’s supply in it. If you have the funds I recommend this supplement to add to the others you take on a regular basis.
