Honestly, was a bit hesitant given the price being so low but I gave it a shot and hot damn it is a workhorse. It can pump really decent sized particulate matter without clogging and easily lift it over 6 feet. Got this one to run into a bog filter for my duck pond (home to 6 ducks) and it has been perfect. Gets the poop out of the pond and into the filter with 0 issues. Have had mine since 2023 and it still performs great, running it continuously from April to November, cleaning and doing maintenance on it only twice a year. The plastic has 0 deterioration and the performance has not noticeably dipped.... Until I did drop it on some rocks with the cover off and managed to chip one of the propeller blades in October 2024... but it, surprisingly, still worked well enough to last to the end of the season. Upgrading the bog filter this spring and so will be getting a more powerful version with the hobbled one going into my smaller pond.

Had to return because it was to big but still great quality

Heavy, which is good. Doesn't flop around on the bottom. Solid construction. Beware; This is a strong pump. More than we needed for our waterfall. Make sure you have more porous filters when using this pump. Fine filters will clog quick and your filter system will back up and overflow and your pond could drain completely if gone unnoticed and subsequently, your pump would burn out.
