AquaTeakTeak Cleaner & Brightener

I recently purchased a teak bench and soap holder for my shower. I wanted to be able to sit while showering but did not want a medical look. To me the teak bench and other teak fittings looked more spa-like. I did, however, want to keep the teak things looking like new rather than becoming white and dingy looking. I like things to look well-kept and clean. While I do wipe down the bench and accessories after a shower I find that this cleaner and a new coat of teak oil every month or so help to keep the teak looking really great. I am refreshed visually by the attractive teak before I even turn the water on for my shower. Great product, easy to use. A little pricey, but worth every penny.

Great product. Cleaned my old shower bench and it looks like new again. Then applied the oil. Looks beautiful.My only issue is that the directions don’t say that it will take the skin off your hands too. Be sure to wear gloves when using this product. Also, protect the surface underneath where you’re going to clean. I was on my patio and a few of my pavers are now cleaner than the rest. And the bottle sitting on the pavers while I was working dripped and I have a ring from the bottom where it was sitting. I’m sure it will go away with sun and time, but I would have done it somewhere else or protected my floor if there had been a warning or better information.

I purchased this after watching someone I follow on instagram (gets me every time) clean their outdoor furniture with teak cleaner. As always, I amazon'd it and found this product. Price was decent and my furniture was DIRTY. Shipped quickly and I used it pretty much immediately because I'm OCD and walk past the patio furniture every morning. I went to town on those benches and table- scrubbed down 3 of them into the dark while having a beer and listening to a podcast. It didn't say anything on the bottle about wearing gloves- maybe this is common sense but if you're NOT looking for a hand peel, I would suggest wearing them. My hands peeled for like 3 days and it was kinda gross but I'm still alive and well to write this review. Furniture came out clean though- used a brush and hose to assist. Oh one other brilliant idea- put it in a spray bottle. You're welcome.

We have a lot of teak furniture in our home, but also some pine, pecan and oak pieces. Although it is meant for teak, I tried this product (AquaTeak Teak Cleaner & Brightener) first on the underside of a pine kitchen table which had not been cleaned in a week. It did a great job of removing dirt without harming the finish. I next tried it on the underside of an unfinished teak table and got the same results. I rechecked both pieces the next day and both had no discoloration, and the kitchen table finish was intact. I applied teak oil to the teak table underside and the table absorbed the oil as it should. Checked it again a week later and it looked nice. I'm now ready to use it on all the teak furniture. Quite pleased.

Seems to be a reasonable value

This product is great! This product didn't take an enormous amount of elbow grease to do clean my teak chairs! Make sure to purchase the oil that goes with this product and your teak will look brand new. Other teak cleaners have given me a headache but this product didn't and the smell didn't bother me. Very happy indeed!

Works exceedingly well. Easy to use and does a wonderful job of cleaning. My teak furniture when 4-years without cleaning, other than rain. Now it is bright teak again.

Just used this product: bad Oder; used kitchen gloves to apply the product and used a brush to spread, very soapy. My main problem is the liquid filtering through the rubber gloves and burning the edges of my hands. I think mild hand soap or dish soap would be just fine.
