Excellent indulgence!! And thank goodness these haven't changed or been coated in salt. I appreciate the salted caramel but I like a straightforward caramel too.

The only reason for the one star off is the price. Check out how much sugar, butter, corn syrup and a drop of vanilla would cost if you made caramels like these at home. But... I got a box of Blue House caramels for Christmas. The quality is everything they say (a little too much soft and sweet and not enough chewy for me, but the world is not with me) and I immediately ordered more for gifts. To my surprise, the boxes were at my and my California giftees' doors the next afternoon. Almost makes it worth the ($25 a box when I ordered) price to know I'll have a last minute gift any time I need one, so four cheers for Blue House!

This is one of the best tasting caramels I've ever had and I've tried a lot of brands. The ingredients come together in perfect harmony, the brown sugar, the butter - it's an intense delight for the senses. The individual pieces are big so I cut them in half, but that's difficult in itself..:) The price is definitely worth it.

I bought these for a caramel-obsessed friend’s birthday, and he absolutely loved them! He couldn’t stop raving about how soft and tasty they were. I’m not a caramel expert, but I can tell these are definitely a step above the rest. He was really impressed with the flavor and mentioned that this was a brand he hadn’t tried before. He’s already planning to buy more on his own!
