KES Black Water Filter Tap for Kitchen Sink Reverse Osmosis Faucet Non-Air-Gap Drinking Water Tap SUS304 Stainless Steel, Z504CLF-BK

We have a problem as the kitchen fitters put the tap in before they fitted the sink and put it right behind the bowl. So there is very little room to change an inline filter tap. Utterly bonkers as if they had put it in the corner of the sink changing it would have been a 5 minute job. Fortunately I know a patient, excellent plumber who over an hour fiddled and adapted tools to change the leaking tap with this new tap. Obviously I wanted to change it with the best quality tap I could find. I searched the reviews and was happy to spend money to get a good quality tap. We couldn’t use the washers and fittings that go underneath as they wouldn’t fit in the tiny gap. My plumber used the nut and adapted another washer. Finally it was fitted and it works really well and doesn’t leak. The information sheet says it’s guaranteed for the length of time we live in the house. I sincerely hope that’s true but only time will tell. It looks great and works perfectly but you do get a drip lingering in the spout. Who cares as long as it keeps going for as long as possible.

This is an EXCELLENT tap for our plumbed-in water filter....the original, a similar item just 4 years old, started to leak...well that's OK, just swap a washer or maybe even the cartridge, but no...it did not disassemble, was unserviceable and the whole unit had to be thrown away. The original supplier quoted £80 for a similar unserviceable replacement and told me "they are al like that nowadays". But this came next day from Amazon, elegant, very well made with all necessary fittings and tools, is entirely able to be serviced if and when it ever needs it, looks nice and I fitted it in minutes. I will not be using the original suppliers again.

Nice tap, could do with a gripping washer to stop it from turning.

Very good looking tap. Matt finish. Easy to fit It does leave a drip after use... but once wiped - all gone

Arrived in the original tap box which had been opended and was without any additional packaging, so I wad gladvit atrived with all parts still jnside. One of the spare connectors was not in a plastic package, was dirty and looked used. In short, it looks like I got one that had been out and returned previously. Installed it anyway as it didnt seem damaged in any way and I didnt want the hassle of returning. Beware of a design flaw though .. the narrowing of the end of the tap water spout means a large drop of the residual water in the tap just sits there once you turn the tap off. Like asnot hangi g out of the tap spout! Not a major issue but a simple annoying product design flaw that could easily have been avoided. They also have product data stamped on the outside of the tap barrel, so unless you want that on display, you have to fit the tap with that side hidden, limiting your fitting options ... why would anyone do that??? This tap is more expensive than other almost identical looking ones on Amazon but in my opinion is not worth the extra. That said, its fitted and does the basics well, if you can ignore the snot like drop sitting there 24/7?

Much better value than the original expensive branded tap which it replaced, but looks almost as good. Fitting was simple and the screw stem was long enough to cope with a thick work-surface. Flow is good. Connectors were perfect and existing tubing just needed firmly pushed home past initial resistance to make a good seal - maybe that’s why others have mentioned connectors leaking.

The quality is not good at all. Had it fit in by a professional and the whole tab keeps turn around when trying to use it.

This was the 3rd tap that we bought from amazon , after the others were faulty ( different makes) and had to be returned. Amazon C.Care were excellent at sorting out the problems and returns/refunds etc. But about this tap it has a retail of £35 and was worth every penny , the packing was excellent ,the chrome tap even came it a little cloth bag to keep the chrome unmarked, 2 different types of adapters and great instructions , fitted easily #THANK YOU# wish i had bought you first . # you do get what you apy for , lesson learnt for me !!

Good quality solid RO tap

Buying this replacement faucet was all about warranty. I looked for a brand that offered support and more than 30 days warranty - 3 years in this case. Installing a replacement due to buying cheap - not worth it. installation is straightforward. The box contains a well illustrated installation quide with Do's and Dont's. Just from the insert, it appears KES cares about the product and your experience - Well documented 'how to contact us' options. The water stream from the faucet seems steady and well developed. Was able to fill a 1 gallon water picture in about 3 minutes. (obviously depends on water pressure). This faucet also has a "filter" in the on/off value. I did not need it in my case as connected to an under sink Ceramic filter system. Good design and appealing cosmetic appearance.

Works well and looks good with my matte black faucetry.

Easy to Install. Works well. Counter fitting bolts are not the strongest. Need to re-tighten from time to time (about one a month).

Was not expecting this to be really high quality for the price we paid but I was pleasantly surprised with the build quality, operation and finish. The fixture is made of solid brass so it has good weight to it. The handle has no slop in it, it works very smoothly. The install went well, all parts needed were included and the matte black finish looks good. All around I'm really impressed and very satisfied with the fixture.
