This is a quality model. The bones are all separate being held together at the joints with wire so they are all flexible except for what I will note next. The talus and calcaneus are screwed together to help form the base of the model but they are separate bones (see attached photos). I recently had foot reconstruction surgery (surgery #5) and I bought this model so that I could better understand the bones of the foot and what the doctor was going to do. While there are plenty of images online that show the bones I wanted something more tangible. Plus, seeing as how foot issues were near and dear to me I just wanted the model for my own amusement. This model is made of good material. It feels quality in the hand. The wires holding the bones together seem to be strong as well and I have not have any issues where I felt the model was going to come apart. I am not a medical person but I believe this a a quality model that would help anyone in need of such.

Foot skeleton is life size and accurate. Joints articulate well. I plan to take the removed hardware from my surgery and screw into the foot. Put it in a display case.

Not able to move the separate joints apart

It is not articulated. All the joints fixed with screws.
