This a is good product. It’s kind of a pain to clean. Does as described. Thickness is even and perfect for little fingers. Makes cutting a bunch of bananas quick. Easy to hold. “Blades” are a little flimsy . If the blades were easier to clean I would of given it 5stars

Love it

I bought this so I could cut bananas easier for my freeze dryer. The device does not fit bananas perfectly as the description infers, the device, when pressure is applied (in order to fully cut through the bananas) splits the banana slices (see pictures) thereby breaking up the slices into smaller chunks. As you can see from the pictures, I finally used a dull butter knife and it cut the slices easier and had cleaner cuts with no breaking up of the bananas. As you can see from the picture, after the bananas had been in the freezer for a few hours, the broken up bananas show a darker color as if they were damaged (blunt force trauma from the banana slicer's dull plastic blades). Save your money on this one folks! Just use a regular dull butter knife and it will cut them cleaner, easier, and nicer!

I had one long time ago. I guess moving so many times it either go lost or gave it away. But now I have one again. I forgot why I had it in the first place. It takes seconds to use and cleans in the dishwasher.

Very easy to use, came in handy for the holidays!!!

Flimsy!

The hinge on this is so fragile that it broke when closing it without anything inside it to slice. It hadn't even been used and it broke immediately.

when preparing a dessert I can quickly add bananas just prior to serving to avoid "browning" All are evenly sliced and makes for a great presentation

Owned it for a month and it broke while using it. Too bad because I love the concept. Disappointing.

The blades shave plastoc into the food.
