We were supposed to have some super cold weather and I remembered we used to have one of these. It has been great. It doesn't take long to warm up so we get it into a bed with sheets already warm. Personally I don't like a whole lot of covers on top of me. It has dual thermostats and it is easy to change in the night depending on the temperature

After going through a different manufacturers products three times we needed to make a change. After reading the reviews we went with this mattress pad and are glad we did. The preheat feature is a nice addition and once the pad is preheated, the pad switches to low. We've found that the low or number 2 setting is more than enough for our needs.One of the reviews noted that the wires are too short for a CA King size, we found just the opposite- there was more than enough cord for that size bed.Two negatives about the product:first - the instructions don't tell you which side which controller goes on. We had to turn one side on high in order to figure it out. The CA King dual controller - the controller with the electrical plug goes on the right side of the bad (from the foot of the bed facing the bed)Second - the lights on the controller are very dim and make it difficult to see in the dark, especially if you were glasses.

I bought this heated topper for our anniversary, and it has been one of the best gifts I could have every got my hubby. I read the reviews and was a bit concerned with the power wire hookup being snagged by his feet during the night, but that has never been an issue. We have a queen size, so maybe that's the difference. We don't feel the wires at all, and it adds an extra layer of "softness" under our sheet. Very pleased to say the least. Each side heats independently of one another and you can tell a subtle difference between the settings. Can't speak to longevity, but so far, it's been a wonderful addition to our bedroom!

I bought this for myself and after having it for just a month I realize this heated mattress pad is worth more to me than some of my family members. I love it, quick to heat up and works great.
