Definitely tastes like icky sunscreen if you get a mouthful of it but as long as you don't slather it on the inner area of your lips it is good. Tastes a little sweet, texture is good but a little more greasy and less waxy.

We love Banana Boat here in this house. This lippie is soft, not waxy, doesn’t have a scent. It isn’t sticky or stinky. Does not feel thick or goopy. Does not trap tiny gnats if you are outside I find it soothing even at home away from the sun. Thanks Amazon for stocking for a reasonable price and always getting our supplies to us asap!

The Banana Boat Sport Ultra SPF 50 Lip Sunscreen does what it’s supposed to. It offers solid sun protection for your lips. However, the texture is a bit waxy and thick, and it doesn’t glide on as smoothly as some other lip balms. It also has the same gross taste that the other Banana Boat SPF lip balm has. Overall, it’s a decent pick if you need high SPF for your lips, but it’s more about protection than comfort or moisture. The item shipped and arrived on time.
