Very good quality, natural and it WORKS!
I started taking Gaia's Rhodiola for stress and anxiety, but after I took it the first time I got extremely tired and fell asleep for 2 hours straight. When I woke up I had a surge of energy and did a weeks worth of work in a day. I noticed after a couple days I was feeling more anxious though, and I had a few palpitations. But I stuck it out and after about a week my body got used to it. I was then surprised to find that I was extremely happy and motivated, and noticed I was doing better in social situations (as I was very anxious before). If you are thinking about getting Rhodiola, GET THIS BRAND. It's a very natural brand with no additives like other brands and works very efficiently. UPDATE: I put this update in the comments section, and someone mentioned it might be better to put it in the original post. So if you read the comments, you'll see it there too. I stopped taking Rhodiola after about 3 weeks it made me more anxious and it made me sweat and blush more. But maybe it made me more anxious because of the latter two. These things were already a problem for me before hand. I tried it again about 6 months later to see if I really did experience that, and yes. Same thing again. Anyways, it definitely does give you more energy, I wont deny that! So if you don't already have a problem with excessive sweating and/or blushing, I should think it's still a great product.

This is a first!
I read about this supplement in a health magazine in an article about well-being. I'm always interested in natural and safe solutions for healthy living, so I researched Rhodiola Rosea from several websites, as to make sure a particular website wasn't creating "hype" with artificial reviews. I have tried many supplements over the years, and I can't really think of any that have actually made such an impact to where I would benefit from its use. Well... Rhodiola Rosea has finally changed this! From the first pill I took, I noticed after a couple of hours that I was very mellow and had a good sense of well-being. I felt "satisfied" with life and everything around me. I thought maybe I was having a placebo affect, so I continued for a couple days taking one pill in the morning and one right after lunch. I still notice a vast difference in my mood. I have been able to wake up without feeling bitter about the day and the anticipated stresses I have with my job. As for the energy part that some get when taking this supplement, I don't feel like I can run a marathon or anything, but as I said before, I have woken up in the mornings much easier. I think my slight improvement in energy is more from the mood-boost and sense of well-being rather than directly from the contents of the pill. Lastly, the reason I wanted to take this supplement was from the stress of my job, the stresses from being a caretaker for a family member, and a few other anxiety-driven circumstances. I can certainly see how this supplement could/can replace antidepressants. I am hoping, and I have read, that I will see a decrease in my cortisol levels from this as well. I am one that stores fat with high cortisol, and I have read in other comments that people have lost weight from the lower levels of coritsol. I will update my review in a couple of months or so to report my findings! Definitely try Rhodiola Rosea and buy this brand! UPDATE - 21 OCT 2015 (Back to the Future Day... Just sayin') Sorry to those who've asked questions and did not receive an update or reply. I didn't have notifications on. In the time since my last review, I have stopped taking the normal doses for maybe a month or two at a time. When my stress levels get high enough, I start taking the Rhodiola again. The same day I start taking it I can notice the difference, and I think to myself, “Why did I stop taking it!?” So I take the supplement for a few weeks and stop again. It seems that when I start up doses, I really notice the difference in my mood and ability to focus at work, and then I get used to the feeling so much that I don’t recognize the difference the Rhodiola is making. So I back off the doses until I feel the stress building. Hope that makes sense. As for weight loss, I haven’t seen any immediate results. I do not believe Rhodiola itself will help me lose weight, but by reducing my stress and helping me focus, it makes it much easier to make an effort to exercise more and eat healthier. If you are a stress eater like me, it is easier to not reach for a candy bar or soda when you’re overwhelmed or exhausted….or just bored. I can focus on my tasks at work for longer amounts of time which keep me from walking to vending machines for a snack. That’s about all I can say for Rhodiola. I do recommend it for minor daily stress and anxiety, when you need help to stay focused on work tasks or school, and if you are frequently exhausted (and not for stupid reasons).

Best Workouts EVER
This supplement is incredible, I can’t believe I’ve gone so long without knowing about it. I have never been one to take Pre workout or any other energy boosting supplement before my HIIT workouts to keep my energy levels up. This supplement makes you feel as if oxygen is flowing at a better rate and I have the best workouts without getting winded. I was doing rounds and rounds of sled pushes and felt like I could keep going, and if you’ve done sled pushes you KNOW how exhausting they are. Additionally, I wanted a break from my prescribed stimulants that gave me constant head aches. I took this along with ‘Feverfew’ herb and it was a match in heaven whenever I felt a headache come along. I feared I would get liver damage from taking extra strength Tylenol everyday…

Works Great for me
I started out slow with one pill when I woke up in the morning. From the very first pill, I noticed a difference. I was no longer dragging myself out of bed anymore. I would get up and take the pill and within a few minutes I would be energized. I dont know if it was because I took these on an empty stomach. I took one every morning for about a week and then noticed that I was getting some depression, I think it was due to personal issues, but I stopped taking it and within a few days I was exhhausted again, dragging myself through my work day and my concentration was totally gone. So when I got home from work that 3rd day, I popped one of these and I was totally engergized again. I worked out and felt great and slept like a baby even taking it so late in the day. I felt wonderful again. For me these pills are very strong, so now I take one every other day with food and they keep my energy up, I feel good and I am more happy, plus the depression I had was gone. As far as I am concerned these are well worth the money. I have low thyroid and low adrenal glands and I choose not to take medication for either of these issues and I have tried so may different supplement and herbs to feel better and Rhodiola is the only thing that works.

A must for anxiety, trouble focusing and high stress
I have been taking Rhodiola Rosea for over 2 years now, take one capsule first thing in the morning and one with dinner. Gaia is by far the best brand you can get since it comes in a liquid capsule, dark bottle, and is sourced from Siberia. Rhodiola should properly NOT be taken as a powder capsule which I first tried, it's much more effective as a capsule. Prior to taking Rhodiola I suffered frequent anxiety attacks, was always on edge, trouble concentrating. After regularly taking Rhodiola, the number of anxiety attacks has been reduced to near zero, I handle a stressful situation with a much lighter mood. I could finally concentrate on my studies, literally could spend all day and night studying. A warning though! In my first month of taking Rhodiola, I did suffer the worst headaches! I think a lot of this was trying to start with a larger dose right away. Definitely ease into it. I have read that a periodic break is necessary, so that your body doesn't get too used to it. I try to take a 2 week break a couple times a year. Though by the end of the 2 weeks I'm an emotional mess. Completely off-center, the anxiety comes back. So maybe this is truly necessary, though it's not a particularly swell time. Overall an amazing product, highly recommend it for anxiety, trouble focusing, and high stress levels.

Herb to help with exercise at altitude
Bought this for a hiking and camping trip at altitude in Nevada. People I trust use it, so I gave it a try. It comes in a glass bottle, which I like, and the capsules are a pretty dark tiger's eye color. That doesn't matter to me, but it made it easier to get my teenagers to take it LOL. Altitude sickness has felled me in the past, and I didn't want to take any chances with this trip. In the end we didn't have any significant altitude issues during our trip. I can't attribute that to Rhodiola, but I also can't not attribute it.
