Second time purchasing this bulb. First one lasted about a year and a half of 12 hours per day use. Great uv output, light output, and heat output.

Got this for my tortoise. Reviews seemed alright but the bulb broke almost instantly. I have an adequate ballast for the bulb with a high enough rating. Don't waste your money. Update: Possibly a fluke but I'll see. The company recognized the issue and sent another bulb. So far so good. If it fails prematurely, I'll update again. I appreciate the professional customer service and quick response time. Update 2: It's still going strong. Changed the review to 5 stars. Best deal I've seen.

I brought my 20 year old Ball Python to the vet after him not willing to eat his prey. He even began killing his prey and not eating it. I could not get him to eat no matter what going on 8 months ( I know older Pythons can stop eating for various reasons) I brought him to the vet, the vet said he was healthy but might be lacking UV rays due to the limitations of his placement in my house. He recommended this product to give him access to direct UV rays. There was a noticeable difference in his activity after 1 month. After 2 months he began eating regularly! It was like a miracle! This product was so good I bought the 100w version for my Albino Burmese Python because she is in a smaller, shorter terrarium. I did have a power outage and it came back on a few minutes later and it burnt the bulb, but I can't blame that on the manufacturer, that is just a fact of use with these high heat types of bulb. Overall this product saved my snakes life and gives him plenty of heat!

Perfect for my bearded... he loves this lamp. I will definitely be buying this again. Helped more than I expected. If anyone's looking for a good heat lamp for an inexpensive price. This lamp is my go to now.

Update 06/19/25 The seller reached out and offered a replacement, which I declined. They then refunded my purchase price. This was decent of them and I'm appreciative they were so responsive. However, I still do not recommend this product...I'm still out the $40 for my dome light fixture that was destroyed, and I'm lucky it did not start a fire! Update: I have since discovered that this bulb actually rendered my entire fixture unusable. It scorched the inside of it and it is now blown. I can't use it for any other lightbulb now. And my poor beardie is going into hibernation mode because it's not warm enough in her enclosure now until I get another one. This company should have to replace that for me! Original review: I ordered this and started using it right away. It seemed great at first. However, this morning shortly after it turned on I heard a loud noise that sounded like sizzling and I looked over and smoke was pouring out of the fixture. Thankfully I was in the room when it happened, so I quickly turned the power off to the fixture, but the whole room smells terrible now. My poor beardie. I think she got scared, she's now hiding in her rock cave. I got right on here to see about returning it and the return window closed May 28. Almost exactly 2 weeks ago. This is highly disappointing. I would choose a different brand if I were you.

Great light and works as expected. We tend to rebuild this same brand as our Beardie is far more active when using this bulb, and the bulb seems to last a lot longer than other bulbs we have used.

Fantastic bulbs for bearded dragons

My bearded loves these, they last for about half a year to a year so keep one on hand jst incase and have auto deliver on it’ll help, I have noticed after a good few years using these lights every now and then they like to ditach from the screw part and hang by a wire and flicker which is really dangerous for my animals, it could start potential fires or shatter glass in my animal setups, would love to see tht aspect improve but overall love the product
