Are these gauged? Im reading conflicted answers on tge reviews

The person above said the image claims these to be .8mm thickness. While, the image does claim that, .8mm is 20 gauge, not 18; and these are, in my opinion only (based on comparing them to other 18 gauges) probably more like a blunt 16 gauge. They won't go into my ear holes, which have been wearing 18 gauges for months, without a significant amount of pressure, and some minor bleeding in one ear.
