Grab Green Automatic Dishwashing Detergents Tangerine with Lemongrass Pre-Measured Pods 24 Loads

These Grab Green Automatic Dishwashing Detergent Pods are awesome! I love that they’re plant and mineral based and truly non-toxic, so I feel good using them around my family. They clean dishes really well, cut through grease, and leave everything with a fresh tangerine lemongrass scent. They dissolve easily, don’t leave residue, and give dishes a brilliant shine. Great choice if you want powerful cleaning without harsh chemicals!

We have a Bosch dishwasher and I have been using Finish Quantum cleaner for years with excellent results. I use this companies laundry detergent and oxygen cleaner (excellent products) and have recently read about the toxic chemicals in dishwasher detergents so I wanted to try this. It takes to cycles of the machine to even clean the dishes. This detergent leaves food particles (so gross! And not experienced before unless I forgot to add a tab) and streaks on glass. I was hoping for the price point and my previous experience with their products that I would have similar results, but alas no. These did not clean out dishes and glasses in our high-end dishwasher that usually leaves things sparkling and spotless with very little effort on our part. I don’t have the time or money to run dishes twice nor use two tabs for mediocre results. This product needs some work.

So far I have loved these pods. I like knowing there is no junk in them to leech into my dishes.

I originally got these as a free gift in my Grove Collaborative order. A lot of times these type of “green” products don’t work well for me but I gave them a try. They fit well in my dishwasher dispenser, they dissolve easily and they leave no residue on the dishes. More importantly, they are better for you than the others that contain harsh chemicals that you probably don’t want on the dishes you eat off of. I’m impressed!

I normally buy the fragrance free Grab Green dishwasher pods and they work great. This time I tried the Tangerine and Lemongrass one, thinking it would have a citrus scent…but no, it is waaay too “perfumey” and taints all of my dishware so you taste it when drinking out of a glass. I finally ran the last load on an extra rinse only cycle 4 times in a row and it finally got rid of the stink. Will throw the rest out and go back to fragrance free.
