This soft close hardware was super easy to install and made a huge difference. No more slamming drawers or cabinet doors—everything closes smoothly and quietly now. So the hinges are just ok. They are flimsy and the metal is thin. Getting the install right is very tricky. I had to make a jig to make installing the clip that mounts to the cabinet because they must be placed EXACTLY or the hinge won't work. The plate is thin and will bend very easily. Docking two stars for install difficulty and cheapness of metal and how easy it bends. Once that part of over the hinges do operate as intended when installed correctly. They close softly and swing out correctly.

Nice hinges for the price. I bedded mine in epoxy to add a little more strength in the pocket. I read the hole placement diagram/graft 15 billion times and I still don't understand what any of it means, but after a 30 second YouTube video it was simple.

I chose this 5-pair pack of hinges for use in replacing a couple of cheap euro-style hinges that I had purchased 4-5 years ago. One of those hinges had failed and was not closing properly. These hinges are priced similarly (quite inexpensive as compared to brand-name) and are WAY better than the other economy hinges I had bought. First off, these hinges disconnect from the mounting plate with a release button on the back end of the hinge. My previous hinges didn't have that feature which made them MUCH more difficult to remove/install. Second, these hinges fit the existing mounting screw holes perfectly, making the replacement job much easier. The closing action on these is nice and soft and the adjustments were easy to make. For budget euro-style hinges, these are quite good at first glance. I installed a pair as soon as they arrived and they're working great. If these hinges don't hold up, I'll be sure to edit this review.
