Okay, I've lived most of my life being teased for the (large) size of my head. I like the look of this helmet, but thought that it was going to be much lower profile than it truly is. The following exchange with a co-worker summarizes this perfectly. Co-Worker (while helmet was sitting on my desk at work): Is that your helmet for your scooter? Me: Yeah. Co-Worker: That's really cool. I like it. Me (as I'm putting the helmet on): Thanks. Co-Worker (after seeing me with the helmet on): I retract what I just said about the helmet. Me/Co-Worker: Laughed hysterically. In short, this helmet is big and does not hug the head closely...but maybe it's just my huge head!

Nice helmet

My son was thrown off his E-bike when the front tire suddenly came off mid-ride. He hit the ground hard, cracked his head, broke his femur, and needed emergency surgery. While he suffered a serious leg injury, he had zero head trauma. No concussion, no skull fracture, just some scratches on the helmet. This helmet did exactly what it was supposed to do. It protected his brain and quite literally saved his life. The fit is snug but adjustable thanks to the padding inside, and my son actually liked the style enough to wear it willingly, which is a win in itself for a teenager. I cannot recommend this helmet enough. It is the reason we are not telling a much worse story.
