I adopted my loving tabby when her previous owner passed away, and it's been an extreme challenge over the past two years to find a food she would eat unconditionally. I'd never had to please a picky eater before, and I was tempted to look the other way, but it worried me to see her losing weight because she simply refused to eat what I offered. This product is more than twice the cost of the previous brand of catfood I was buying, but I purchased it based on reviews from others dealing with picky eaters. When I watched her eat an entire serving at once, I was so happy, I just had to write a review. I've also purchased another Pro Plan kibble that she really likes too, but that's a separate review. ;)

Great food but too pricey.
My cats love this food, and it was Vet recommended. It would get 5 stars - but it is overly expensive. Especially since the cans are so small. People want to do what is best for their kitties - but we shouldn't have to go broke to do it.

The cats seem to like it.
I got this for my neighbor's cats to upgrade them to a better brand of food. They seem to love this food and it really is making them eager to eat their meal each day. I can see the vegetables and the rice bits in the Turkey and Chicken formulations. The smell is not bad, and it is good value for the money.

My vet tech friend recommended the pro plan for my cats, as one of them throws up a lot, and this is a game-changer. The vomiting has decreased because the patte is so much easier for her to digest, and she does not eat as fast. For my greedy boys, it's more food because it's more solid, and they don't get hungry as quickly. I take a tablespoon of filtered water and mix it in so they are getting extra hydration, but 10/10 for their health.
